Continental GatorSkin DuraSkin Tire

Good quality, original Continental product, and looked great once assembled. Highly recommend to some how warm tire to install. I didn’t do this with the first tire and had a very hard time getting it on the rim. The second tire was a breeze, left it in the sun for a few minutes and I was able to install it in less then five minutes. Don’t know yet how durability.

My husband purchased these on his now defunct Amazon account. When the tires came in, he installed one on his rear wheel. He has put on about a dozen bike tires, so knows how to do it. Within a week of use, the tire popped. He put the second one on, and it lasted through the summer season up until now. Now, though, the tire has sections with the rubber entirely stripped. Only the webbing underneath the tire is left in these spots. He has ridden about 200 or 300 miles this season, all of them on the tire; his tires usually last 500 to 1000 miles. These tires are just horrible. I dont know if it is because they are folded and have a weaker bead or if it is overall a low quality product, but I would absolutely avoid them. Get something else.

Great tires; smooth ride and long-lasting.

Use these quite a bit for training. Greatly reduced flats and destroyed tires. The two pack works out cheaper than 2x single.

Put them on a Cannondale Synapse for more durability and less likely to get a flat.

Bought for my road bike. Nice tires. Easy to install.

These tires are amazing! I went from about a flat tire per week, to no flats since I installed them four months ago! Im riding on city streets and the occasional canal trail. Ive hit broken glass, potholes, cracks, thorns--these things are nearly indestructible. If you are tired of flat tires, invest in GatorSkins! They are slightly heavier, but unless youre a pro, you wont notice a few ounces.
