I paid extra $$ for these tires because they are indestructible. I enjoyed them for just 6 months. Two days ago this happened. My previous tires, cheap Kendas, lasted me two full years.

Great product

I have used these tires for about 7-8 years. Ive got new sets about 5 years ago but I dont ride as much as I used to. Just writing that they have served me well in durability and puncture resistance. They are similar to hard tires in auto racing in that they are more for durability than for grip and speed. The 2 dots: Lots of people thinking the 2 dots/snake bite/etc. on the tires are a defect. They are tire wear indicators. If you locate the 2 dots, look at the sidewall with a good flashlight and you will see a triangle arrow and TWI written next to it. It is only printed on one side. When both of the 2 dots are no longer visible, the tire needs to be replaced. Of course dont ignore other signs of a bad tire such as too many punctures and damage to the sidewall.

skins work very well

I had the sidewall / bead fail on both tires I bought in this set. I typically run wire bead gatorskins but bought this two pack during the pandemic because of lack of supply. I had my second blowout today. It is altogether possible that I did something wrong causing this issue but I have ridden 25000 miles in the past two years and changed hundreds of flats and have gone through dozens of tires over the years - never had tire failures like this. I would definitely not recommend.

So far logged 50 miles into them and still are great, thorns bend when they hit the tire! Awesome product

I swear buy these tires. This is my 4th pair in a row. They last 2 seasons for me. I average over 100 miles a week.

These are great tires, they hold up well and ride well. I regularly wear them out before they get cut and I have never had one actually fail because of a serious cut. I have used these for 10+ years. The latest models (2020+) are actually narrower than before. The 25 c tires used to measure 25 mm across, now they measure 24 mm across (same rims etc).

I have had these on my bike for 3yrs and not a single issue ever. Prior to that I tried all kinds of other tires that were suppose to be puncture resistant, but these are truly the best tire any serous rider should consider on their road bike for daily commutes and training.

The product is good but the buying experience and store is great
