Its a good durable tire.

Put over 1000 mi on them so far and are holding up fine. Good traction in wet conditions.

I rode Gators for a long time. Switched to GP5000s and instantly started getting puncture flats. 6 in ten rides. I put this set of Gators on and am at about 2,500 miles so far without one flat. I know they are not the fastest but i still avg 21MPH over a 50-75 mile run so I dont think they are that bad on rolling resistance. The piece of mind has been well worth it!

If you live in Arizona, these are the gold standard. A bit heavier that other tires but the time I lose to rolling weight in a century ride is nothing compared to the time I lose fixing flats nearly every time I ride with most other brands.

I tried the Grand Sport model maybe 4 years ago. Was getting flats on a regular basis. Other cyclists I know said Gatorskins are better for flats. Well. I got 3 flats in the first 2 weeks of using these. It could be coincidence but I simply cannot trust Continental tires no matter which model I get. I went back to the original Giant tires that came with my bike. No flats at all.

I am an avid rider and will spend the extra money to ensure that I have the best parts. Not for racing purposes but because I take good care of my bike and use it daily. These tires are the best I have ever ridden; very rarely do I have a flat. I run 700x25 for the comfort and better handling and would highly recommend this tire to anyone asking.

Bought these tires to replace my worn out stock tires and literally within the first two days of riding I got three blown out tubes on my rear wheel. First time on the way home from work. Second and third time happened on the same day on the way to work and, again, on the way home from work after replacing with all new tubes. I’ve used the same brand tubes for years and never had an issue until I installed these new tires. These tires must be defective because the inner tubes blow out over the smallest impact. Anything bump over half a inch or even the smallest pothole on an otherwise flat surface would blow out the tire. I can’t even go from the sidewalk to the main street without blowing out a tire. Save your money and DO NOT BUY!!

The only tire I buy. Have used for 6-7 years.

I have used these before and seem very sturdy and have not gotten a pinch flat or flat from this brand.
