DEWALT 20V MAX* LED Work Light / Flashlight (DCL040)

I use one at work and like it so much,I bought one for home.

Just what the doctor ordered. This will light up an entire backyard.

Happy with this light! Compact body, lightweight, has plenty of brightness on the light output. Works great for what Im using it for.

Very bright and battery life excellent.

I use some older 2 amp hour batteries with this and it lasts multiple nights using it as a lantern... Id say 10 hours or more run time. Its plenty bright for outdoor and insanely bright for indoor use.

I generally use the DCL043 as a work light when doing various household handyman-type work. The multiple ways it can be positioned (adjustable head angle, hanging loop, standing vertically, etc.) without having to rig something up is awesome. I also tested it by pointing it towards the ceiling in a completely dark room, and found that it can act as general purpose lighting for the room during a night time power outage.

This item is useful at all time whenever a little extra light is needed

The tilt for the light seems a little loose. I hope it won’t get any worse. If not it will be ok I guess

Love how it stands up on its own

I would definitely call this a spot light, not a work light - the ultra-bright beam is pretty specific, not omnidirectional - like a regular work light. It could work in a large open space or outdoor space. By far the brightest hand-held I’ve ever owned. There are 2 settings: high and medium. Honestly, it WILL light something up like daylight at 50 yards! If you want a very bright spot, this is it!
