> 3 dayIts a good product. Im surprised how many people dont understand that a surge is NOT over voltage. Look up what HZ means. 60hz is us power. That means how many times per second it changes direction. Voltage is completely different. Power surges are Hz fluctuations that may cause arcing, and usually find a dc transformer somewhere in the house. Those surge strips arent going to do anything for you, go with a whole home surge arrestor. No, its not a battery backup. You can get battery backups relatively cheap, and theyre called a UPS

> 3 dayGot it installed just in time! We have been having violent thunderstorms and one of my friends neighbors three houses down got hit. It traveled to his house then fried the Smart Fridge, Washer & Dryer, HVAC, 40 led bulbs throughout the house, all computers, and tvs. Over a $20K insurance claim. This is cheap insurance and install was a breeze. After researching all the level 2 SPDs out there, the Eaton Ultra was the best bang for the buck. All the people complaining that the lights that let you know if it is working or not need to get their eyes checked. Mine is very bright as you can see in my photos. I did a hack to my electrical box of cutting out a view port so you can see the lights and put a piece of plexiglass from the back of the panel as the window. A picture is worth a thousand words. So far, all four of my friends installed the same one on their box after seeing my install. Highly recommend!!!

Greater than one weekWarranty doesnt cover its intended purpose. I installed it, but, I put it in my garage. I put a Leviton, in my house. Im not saying Leviton is better but their warranty at least covers power surges.

> 3 dayWe used to get power surges a couple times a day, and I was worried about damage to my electronics. Put this in and we rarely see any surges. When we do, theyre minor. Big improvement and a must have if you have unreliable power or solar like we do.
