Greater than one weekWorked great with a double 50 amp breaker.

> 3 dayI guess its working? My electrician said that these are the best when he installed it (he did it as part of a fuse to breaker conversion). Its on a 50 amp breaker, and the green eyes are lit so, were good to go - until were not - and thats where this will come in to play! :)

> 3 daySo this is my third purchase and install of this surge protector. The panel upgrades are always located outside in Southern California, so I end up drilling a hole in the back of the panel and very close to the 50 amp breaker and mount the surge protector on the inside wall. The two lights let you know that both sides of the bus bar are protected. There is no reset button, so if you happen to get a damaging spike and one or both of the lights are off, the unit is toast and has to be replaced. Of course, its better to replace the surge protector than say your expensive TV or other electronics.

> 3 dayI installed this after an electrical surge during a storm took out my garage door opening, hot water heater and sump pump … plus numerous surge protectors around the house (which thankfully did their job and protected all the electronics plugged into them). The install is easy to do if youre comfortable working in your electrical panel. Hopefully Ill never need this, but at least I feel more prepared now. I should have installed it BEFORE needing it. :)
