For a low cost, I now have peace of mind that my electronics are better protected. A year ago the power flickered and blew out the HDMI ports on my TV. Luckily, my credit card covered the diagnostic and repair cost of ~$400, but after that experience I decided that surge protectors at the outlets were not enough. Later this year Im going to speak to ComEd about getting a Type 1 SPD protector installed at the meter to further protect my home.

Would have liked the wires a bit longer. Otherwise all good.

Easy to install even though we put it in a weather proof enclosure to mount to an exterior service panel. This makes it easy to check the operation lights without the homeowner opening a “live” panel.
