My crabs love this sand. I had tried a variety of different substrates and they seemed to like this the best. Doesnt dry out so fast like some and can be cleaned pretty easily.

I just learned that this product is unsafe for Hermit crabs due to the salt content. I have 2 unopened bags but it’s passed my return window. **Please contact me as I would still like to return this product if possible.

Looks like sand taken right off of the beach. Holds moisture well and has coconut fibers here and there in the sand. It feels and looks like natural sand so I doubt there was any bleaching or coloring added to the sand. The second I poured it into the tank and placed my crabs in it, they started digging. They havent seen sand in god knows how long.

I do not recommend this product because i replaced my sand from petco with this sand my hermits seemed to do fine then my very active crab quit being active and my other crab refuses to come out of his hiding spot and couple days later I noticed my hermit crab that used to be super active COVERED in mites. Now I have to boil and replace all the sand soil and make sure my hermits are okay all because I used this sand.

Filled my tank and didnt even use a quarter of the bag. Great price & definitely more natural sand :)
