My crab seems to like it! No complaints! I will order again!

They seem to like it...have a mix of this..all purpose sand and ecoearth coconut. One of my hermies immediately went down to molt after I put this mix in the tank so I would recommend it.

The package is smaller than you anticipate but it works just fine depending on how big your crab setup is. Holds moisture well.

Looks like sand taken right off of the beach. Holds moisture well and has coconut fibers here and there in the sand. It feels and looks like natural sand so I doubt there was any bleaching or coloring added to the sand. The second I poured it into the tank and placed my crabs in it, they started digging. They havent seen sand in god knows how long.

Will purchase again

I was a little skeptical that this stuff was as good as it looked (you know what they say about that). But all my fears have been laid to rest. My crabs love it, easy to clean, safe, healthy for them. A pinch pricey but totally worth it. A permanent addition to my tank.

My hermit crabs love it better then the plastic cage we got them in.

We purchased three bags of this sand for my sons hermit crab habitat. After replacing the previous substrate with this sand, our three hermit crabs were visibly thrilled. All three began eating the sand, digging in it, and they all even upgraded to larger shells. Before putting in this sand, the crabs stayed buried all the time, only surfacing at night. Now they seem so much more active and happy. This sand must contain minerals they need. We love it and will purchase again.
