Fluker All Natural Premium Sand Substrate Mixture for Hermit Crabs Pack of 2 66027-2p

The bag was open upon delivery. Absolute mess, with sand everywhere.

My 10 gal tank had about 4 of a sand/fiber substrate to begin with and I needed to make it about 6 or more. In order to add those 2 found I needed 3 bags of this sand mixturel. With Prime Free Shipping, the price for this all-in-one produce was well worth it. I was a bit surprised to find that the Sand Substrate mixture was properly moistened when it arrived. I did not have to add any water to it to bring it to the build a sand castle stage. Adding it to my tank was easy as well. I removed all of the items from my tank (including Aloysius my hermit crab), mixed it into the sand already in the tank and then put everything back! Easy as could be. An added bonus was exercise for Allie. Even though items went back into the same position, he still felt it necessary to visit each piece and climb over and around several times!

Used it for my 10-gallon tank. My son formed an elevated portion where our hermit crabs can practice their hiding skills. So far, so good. Thumbs up!

Exactly what I needed. My hermie has a bigger habitat so I would def need two bags next time. But he likes it and that’s all that matters. I just mixed it with the cleaned sand he already had in his home.

I mix it with the Zoo Med Hermit Soil Coconut Fiber and my hermit crabs love it. They dig themselves tunnels all over the place like the little bulldozers they are.

I don’t like writing bad reviews unless it’s really bad. The smell of this sand is awful! I had to toss it.

Looks good no smell

Not a huge bag & it does seem pretty damp throughout, but it worked great for my crabs. As soon as I put them in their habitat, they quickly started digging & exploring through their new sand.
