HARRIS Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade, 4lb with Powder Duster Included in The Bag

I really like DE and I use it multiple places. I mix it into my chicken feed to prevent and kills worms in my chickens. I sprinkle it in the garden both at ground level as well as on the leaves and veggies. I also use it on my fruit trees. It really works on the insects we get here at my farm. I love that this one comes with a device to squirt/spray/distribute the powder on these various places. Its a little messy to fill but it helps to powder a chicken tail that has nits (as she runs away from you!)

The bag was bigger than I thought but were taking it for health reasons so thats good! Not the greatest tasting but it coukd be worse I guess.

I moved out of a roach infested apartment, and my house doesnt have roaches, so clearly it works. Beware that this stuff builds up a strong smell in storage. Opening up all my boxes after the move sure was...an experience...

This stuff works! I live in an older house. Its full of spiders. Mostly brown recluse. Ive tried everything to get rid of them aside from calling an exterminator. I wanted something safe to use because I have a cat. So I tried DE. I havent seen any spiders since I put it down. Earwigs seem to be an issue this year. DE dont kill them but they dont like it. Also the ant invasion on my back porch is almost gone. No beetles, no stink bugs, no snails sliming up my front door! Im telling you bugs wont cross it. Dont be too heavy applying it inside the house. A light dusting is enough. Otherwise you will have a mess thats hard to clean up. Outside will have to be reapplied after it rains.

Great product! Use it in the garden and make my own supplements with a capsule filler and a little bit of citric acid. The 4lb bag at this price gives me plenty for both. The applicator/blower is garbage. Upside down does just a little bit more than nothing. Outlets on the bottom will blow 90% of it out in the first two puffs and leave you with a stopped up mess, and after just a few tries the sides of the bellow are starting to wrinkle and bind. I ended up using an 8oz squeeze bottle and thats worked out perfect for the garden application. It can be very messy working with such a large bag so recommended that you use it outside with good air flow.

There was no powder duster included in the bag. While Im sure the product will function as intended, Im disappointed. Its difficult to dispense without the puffer.

Its a very fine powder and itll make your place extra dusty, no matter how careful you are at applying it. But the dust is worth it, because in my situation this worked like a charm. Itll stun them in a sense, theyll begin to become afraid to move, itll chase them to safety, theyll seek out the safest spot to be while still being near a blood source, narrowing down their options and limiting the infestation to a small area. Spread it across thresholds, entry doors and closet doors. Put it on the carpet and let it sit for a day or two before vacuuming. Rinse and Repeat. Sprinkle it around furniture legs (leaving it there for months) and underneath cushions/mattresses. Spray puff it onto the sides of soft furnishings and into the various crevices on furniture pieces. I dont have pets, but if you do, be sure to address their bedding and sleeping areas as well.

This should be everyones daily vitamin. It is excellent to drink with LOTS of water. Ive researched quite a bit about it - DE has helped so many people with so many health problems, aches and pains especially. I couldnt find anything bad about it except make sure you get food grade earth not pool grade! pool grade is made differently for the pool and of course would be deadly. To inhale it causes irritation and not good. So wear a mask for spraying but once ithe DE most clears and settles it is safe to come into contact with it or so I read. Its the cloud of powder that isnt good to breath but spooning it into your drink isnt causing dust so its safe. Wear gloves when taking from the bag. It will irritate your hands.
