> 24 hourThis fan is extremely simple to use. I set it up with no issue and started using it immediately. I like how clean the design is and that it doesn’t take up to much space. It is fairly quiet but I almost wish it was louder. I like to use louder fans as white noise when I sleep. The remote works very well so you don’t have to get up and walk directly to the fan every time you want to change a setting. Overall, this is a really nice fan and I think it’s well designed. The display on the top is top notch quality as well as everything else that comes along with the fan itself. Definitely a good buy!

> 24 hourThe fan is super quiet, and has 8 speed setting, plus it oscillates. Great value for the money.

> 24 hourI love this fan…. Had one just like it and still using it so found another one and bought it. It’s better built than newer fans and is quieter than them. Seems to last longer also as the old one is still going.

> 24 hour*TL:DR* Im dinging this review low despite the product being so amazing, because amazons Used Products policy is terrible. Maybe this will get someones attention, who knows. Used Fan was missing locking nut and thumbscrews for the base. I looked at my order here on Amazon and I couldnt find any way to message about the missing parts, when I clicked support on the order I was directed to a page with Honeywells contact information. I ended up ordering a replacement parts from Honeywell, because Amazons only form of support was to direct me to Honeywell. In this case I dont feel its Honeywells responsibility to replace parts that Amazon lost when repackaging this product. Honeywell did so, happily, at no expense to me. I would totally come back and make this review 5 stars if Amazon can step up and provide some actual answers or support for what is obviously an error on Amazons behalf. ***** Bought this fan used and I couldnt be happier with the performance of the fan. Used description said new product with damaged packaging. Sure enough the packaging was in tatters, the Thank you for giving this product a second life - Amazon stickers slapped all over the box was the only thing really keeping it together. Despite the sorry state of the box, at first look the fan sure does look new. Inside the box are a cardboard insert, the Fan (wrapped in plastic), two halves of the base (individually wrapped in plastic), the Remote (wrapped in plastic), and and assembly instruction card. No warranty card, no manual. The instruction card shows step 1 as how to snap the base together, and step 2 shows how to remove the locking nut from the base of the fan. Heres where I run into an issue: There isnt one on the bottom of the fan. I can see the threads where it would be screwed on, and its not there. I go back and check the box, nothing. Step 3 and 4 show how to align the fan to the base and secure it using the locking nut. At this point I figure I just want to see how the fan works, Ill worry about securing it later. And wow, this fan is amazing. Even on its lowest setting the airflow is considerable and the fan is almost completely silent, and on its highest setting the fan is still quiet while pushing out a considerable amount of air. And with 8 different settings you can find the balance that fits for you, mine is probably 6 or 7. The sleep setting was a must, and works as intended with options for 1, 2, 4 and 8 hours. There oscillation setting only goes in what looks to be a 90* angle, but that suits my needs perfectly. There is a button for changing the brightness of the LED on the fan, it doesnt bother me to much at its brightest but its a nice feature to have. (note about a flaw with the remote and this button/feature below) The remote is super handy and works pretty well. One issue I noticed is that there is no light setting on the remote and when you change the fan speed it resets the indicator light on the fan. The light isnt super bright at its brightest, but Im sure it could bother others more than it does me, so I mention it anyways. I cant speak for the range, its across the room from my desk but less than 20 feet away. Overall Im very happy with my fan and Im sure Ill be even happier when its fully and properly assembled with all the proper parts. Currently I have some tie wire carefully wrapped around the threads and gorilla tape wrapped around that to secure the fan to the base. Its pretty sturdy with this temporary fix while Im waiting on Honeywells parts to come in.

> 24 hourI bought this after reading many good reviews of the unit. At first I was pretty happy with it, it was relatively quiet on higher settings but oddly more noisy at lower levels. If you live in a city where there is a constant hum this wont be a problem but in our quiet house the lower levels have an obvious electrical hum due to the speed control circuitry being cheap. After a year or so we started to notice a light grinding/clicking sound. After disassembling the unit to inspect what might be making the noise it was discovered that the sound was coming from the fan motor itself. After cleaning the inside of the unit and using some light oil to try to keep things running smooth I put it back together and decided to just live with it. Recently I bought another one of these and to my surprise the old one is moving about half or less of the air that the new one is. Yes, you might think well he took it apart so he just didnt put it back together correctly and I get that and cannot stop you from thinking that. On the other hand I know my way around fixing things and the fan worked exactly the same before taking it apart as after (just a bit cleaner and more lubed). What this says to me is that the fan motor and/or motor control circuitry on this unit is under-powered and is being worked too hard leading towards premature failure. A good fan should be able to last at least 5 years before any noticeable wear or failure IMO. At this point the fan puts out about as much air on high as the new one does at the white noise level. Pros: decent noise level even at higher speeds good range of speeds remote works well Cons short lifespan (1-2 years) developed clicking/grinding difficult to clean properly without taking the unit apart

> 24 hourI was skeptical when I bought it because I didn’t think it would cool all as quickly as it does and it’s quiet unless you crank it up. Right now I. Sitting probably 10-12 feet away and I can feel the cool breeze. Just bought another one for the bedroom which is upstairs and as most two floor homes it’s always hotter on the second floor. Hope it works as well.

> 24 hourI dont think appliances should ever have blue/green/white/etc. lights on them. Why not red? Red wouldnt keep me awake at night. The blue light on this fan means it joins the air filter and the phone in my bedroom in being covered by a sock or a hat. Kind of silly. Seriously, why not just use red lights? This fan is also very tall, which means that if you are lying on the floor, the air might be too high to reach you. I had to tilt it with a book under the base in order for it to blow low enough for my purposes. The remote doesnt work well at all. This fan is very quiet on the lowest setting, and it has a nice range of settings.

> 24 hourAfter reading the most recent reviews up to May 2020, and old reviews from 2019, 2018, etc, there were good and bad reviews. The bad reviews were complaining: > How the instructions didnt make sense > How the AC is too loud > Its too weak to be worth it > Plastic Material > Stopped working If you have the money and youre not stingy with money, then buy yourself a more EXPENSIVE AC fan. But if you just need a AC Fan for a room or a living room or even if youre just working on your car inside your garage, this will do the job, like seriously. I rate this 10/10 for the price and what it does. Ive been having this Honeywell Fan for 2 years now, and I never had a problem with it, seriously. If you take care of it like how youre supposed to take care of things, no matter what it is, it will take care of you. That means dont over use it when youre not really using it. Its that simple. There are no cons for me with this fan. For example, whats the difference of buying a expensive purse and a inexpensive purse? The Price and Brand. But the use of the two? It has the same purpose. If you dont take care of either one, then youll always have a reason to blame the product. Same goes for this fan. So whoever is indecisive about this Fan, follow what I am stating right now and youll be fine. Also, I have a 750 sq ft 1 bedroom studio. This cools down my entire room. No BS. Especially that Im from California, where the weather is bipolar, and when its summer, its really hot. This fan will relieve your stress from being too hot.

> 24 hourOrdered one. It arrived with a rattle on the lower settings. Returned it and got a replacement. 2nd one rattled slightly less so I kept it. Clearly the fan is not built well enough or packaged well enough to be shipped. Probably a fine in person buy but it’s definitely not going to work 100% if you get it through the mail.

> 24 hourI read and watched tons of reviews. I expected this to be more powerful than it actually is compared to other fans this one’s OK. It does the trick, but if you’re looking for something super powerful with a larger turning radius, I would look somewhere else. I put this, about 10 feet away from my bed and I can feel it but I just wish it was more powerful. It’s a nice fan but unfortunately after a couple months, something went wrong with the lights on the display and most of them are lit up, but regardless, I use it quite a bit .
