Greater than one weekIt does its job well. The remote and timer settings are very helpful. Well-thought design occupies very less space and fits anywhere.

> 3 dayThe first one we ordered had a broken fan motor possibly. It made a loud noise intermittently, but the replacement works great. Quiet and decent air flow on low mode even. We keep it on high as its quiet. It does have a nice white noise mode too where it creates a rumble-like sound. Also shipped quicker than advertised(received next day).

> 3 dayBought 2 of these fans about 2 yrs ago. One the remote never worked, but that fan was in the bedroom and was only ever used on 1 setting. The other fan went to the living room. You would not believe how hard it is to find a fan with so many settings that is actually quiet on the lower settings (although I do not think the higher settings are THAT noisy). So, why the 5 stars and why am I purchasing a replacement? My 88 lbs German shepherd has knocked the living room fan over about 4 times now (and I mean full force knocked over trying to play with the cats) and while it is still going strong, something has broken and it is tilted now. As for the fan portion....still work perfectly well and no issues with the remote. I am getting a new one since it is a little difficult to position it just right with it being tilted. And incase you are wondering if the oscillator still works after all the trauma to it.....yes it does. While I do not use that, it still works. I have complete faith in the quality of Honeywell fans after this!

> 3 dayThe fan is super quiet, and has 8 speed setting, plus it oscillates. Great value for the money.

> 3 dayI may have just gotten a defective product, since I own another one of these fans in my workout room and it has been fine. But this one ran constantly for the summer months like a dream. Then we had a hot spell a month or so ago, and when I turned on the fan it was making a god-awful noise. I am really disappointed because the other one has been perfect. Of course I didnt keep the box and as I read the instructions for invoking the warranty I have to pay to have it returned? Thats kind of BS....

Greater than one weekThis is a very good fan, the blowing power is amazing keeps it nice and cool in the room. My only complaint is when I ordered the black unit it said it came with a mini tower table fan when I got my package only one box was delivered, so I called Amazon and Amazon told me “well no that’s part of the description you do not actually get a mini tower fan.” Save yourself $20 and buy the white one It’ll still work the same. Would not even offer to credit the difference. I was told to return and order the white one if I wanted the $20 back. Do better Amazon. :-(

> 3 dayOverall a great product. A large variety of speeds and runs relatively quiet at all of them; oscillates with a wide range and fits great in a corner to provide airflow to a medium sized room when you want to cool down but dont need to turn on the a/c. My only gripe is that the base feels cheap and flimsy. The fan itself will outlast its mount for sure.

> 3 dayI purchased this fan as a replacement for the immediate previous version of the QuietSet tower fan, for my baby’s room (when purchased, he was just over a year). All-in-all, this is a good fan though not one to totally rave about. Some things to consider: I’ve owned a few QuietSet fans from Honeywell. They tend to last me, so I keep going back. Although I enjoy the white noise from a good fan, QuietSet fans are very quiet. In low modes, you can’t tell they are on by the sound. It also means, however, that these are not extremely powerful fans. Perfect for a home already air conditioned, looking for additional circulation or something to keep you cooler at night without jacking up the power bill — or, as I am currently using it, for your baby’s room. The original version had 5 modes instead of 8. Although I think the 5 modes pretty much covered the fan speeds you’d need, adding 3 more doesn’t hurt you any. What I absolutely didn’t like about this tower fan, was that the light from the fan used to automatically turn off after a handful of seconds. This version has a light like a beckon! It seriously lights up an entire room. There is a button on the fan to dim the light or turn it off completely. But (1) that makes the remote control useless because you eventually will get up to walk over to the fan to turn off the annoying light, and (2) it has 4 dimmer modes.... which makes no sense to me. On or off. Maybe, I’ll give you, the option for one dimmer selection, but four? It’s silly and unnecessary, causing you extra, precious sleeping seconds when you’ve dragged yourself out of bed to turn it off. The remote has Power, Speed and Oscillation on it. Everything you need... unless the fan has a light 3x stronger than the sun on it. Even if you’ve turned the fan light off previously, the next time you change the speed of the fan, the light goes right back on. This is especially annoying when I’m trying to be sneaky, adjusting the fan in my child’s room. The timer settings for the fan are 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 and 8. This is also handy while being completely annoying. 1 hour? Who ever just needs a fan on for one hour — that couldn’t just use it for 2 hours? My family and I live in California, where the days in summer can be 20-30 degrees warmer than the evenings. Dressing my little one for the temperature in our house when he goes to bed, and the temperature it’s going to be 5-6 hours later is an epic math equation, full-on nightly parental discussion and something of a game of luck. I dress him warm enough to deal with the cool down, and use the fan to cool him while it’s still hot. However, 4 hours doesn’t yet bring us into enough of the cooler night temperatures to want the fan off, and 8 hours is too far in that he wakes up because he is cold. A 6-hour timer would have been perfect, but apparently there is someone out there that benefits from having a one-hour slot. Who? Beats me. The construction of the fan is nice and not too top heavy (my biggest concern for tower fans). The bottom pedestal (that clicks in, post-delivery) worked just fine on our previous version but has never clicked all the way in on this version. I dislike it because I’m scared that one day, the pedestal will break if the part that doesn’t click in like it’s supposed to, catches on something. For a fan that I have for my baby, it’s a decent way to go. Not to loud, good fan settings, gentle breezes, timer and dimmable lights. This fan just lacks the necessary components to get it into the end zone for me. Maybe next version.

> 3 dayI ordered this fan for an elderly family member and when I visited them they showed me the box the fan was received in. The entire corner of the box was damaged. When we opened the box, the fan looked like it had been used OR it was damaged during shipment. Furthermore, the oscillating option didnt work after putting the tower together. We returned the first one and promptly received the replacement. This fan is very easy to assemble and the amount of options for air output is incredible. The highest setting puts out a ton of air and the lower setting options are super quiet with plenty of air output, too. I think its best feature is the amount of space it doesnt take up. Very nice fan for a great price.

> 3 dayVery loud after 6 months. Started off fine and quiet but now is very loud and seems like it’s not oscillating correctly. Don’t recommend
