This is the most annoying software ever, instead of making it easy to clean and maintain your computer, spends most of its time selling other software, it almost feels like malware

Taking care of my computer is what I do and one of my former professor used this software and I thought he was crazy. I asked him you are training us on the most complex and integrate details of how an Operating System works. Why do you need this company to maintain your computer when you know we can do better ourselves because we know how a system operates as much as they would. He told me yes I can maintain my computer but how valuable is my time? If your spending an hour our so servicing your own computer thats time wasted from other things you can be doing. So I purchased this software and have been a customer for about 8 years now and found the best price on their new version at Amazon. Now when you are a customer at least in the past 5 years its cheaper to re-subscribe with the company after already having the software. Yes they bug you about new promotion to extend your time but after a while the software learns your not interested and you need to go to them when your ready. all in all its the most comprehensive amount of tools to protect and service your PC. Virus free for 5 years and some other measures I take as well like I tell my customers YouTube safe web surfing and their are great videos from colleagues of mine that are world recognized experts. The biggest reason they won 5 stars with me is the tools, the service, and customizable, as well as unlimited licenses for the entire household! You cant go wrong with a service that provides your family like mine with new PCs all the time and I can install this on all of them and mine is customized and controlled by me while my parents have it more on Auto pilot and I have peace of mind. Again I have learned as an IT expert that I cant keep up with every change and every update (with XP I could but I was a young and big headed then) This tool helps me utilize my time better and still lets me service my computer how I want to service it because only person I trust to maintain my computer is me and IOLO.

Seems like a good product. Some problems installing. You have to be a minor geek to negotiate use. Needs a little fine tuning for us non-experts.

I used to swear by system mechanic. I used it for years with no problems at all. I just bought a new laptop with lots of memory and a large hard drive and tried twice installing this twice straight from the ilio website.

I ordered this product and once installed it required a license key that should have come with the product and it did not. I then had to download a license key that statement it was good for only 30 days. The advertisement if this product does not state that... my review for this product is a about a 1 for it stinks! Never will I recommend this product to anyone...in fact I would like a refund!!

it did not keep virus off my lap top as good as other virus protectors so fo that I took it off my lap topit may be good for other things that I will look into but not as a virus protector..

BEWARE!, First thing after installing couldnt print, corrupted the printer spooler registry, second constantly getting script errors, third invalid argument, fourth part of the program when I tried to use it said it was out of date and need to purchase the update, contacted System Mechanic and the acknowledged problem but couldnt give a fix but as soon as they did they would send it.

I have used system Mechanic for 5 years now. The produce works great, but it seems the company is more concern about renewals and updates. My account is not due for renewal until June, but I have been getting bombarded with popups to add time. Let’s not forget about the updates. For a small fee you update your system. I probably will not renew in June. There has to be something

I bought a used Compaq Presario CQ62 from my good friend after he had bought a touch screen tablet. He complained about this laptop being way too slow. At that time, my old laptop was dead. The hard drive went bad on it and I really didnt want to waste money installing another hard drive, so I bought his Compaq laptop. Besides deleting a whole lot of security and anti-virus programs on it, I bought and installed System Mechanic Professional and Im telling you, it works miracles. This former tired, rundown laptop is now running like new and Ive not had a single issue with my laptop. Dont waste your money on Fix It programs. Theyre no good. Buy this. Highly recommended. Dont pay any attention to the negative comments on here because its likely these customers dont know what theyre talking about.
