> 3 dayWe installed this on for our Administrative Assistant computer. We have an old building and limited wiring. This switch allowed us connect the printer and other hardware easily. It was done in 3 minutes.

> 3 dayI need a switch because my cable TV provider issued a new set top device that used an ethernet cable instead of coaxial. Rather than sacrifice a connection directly into my smart TV, I bought this switch. Sometimes these Amazon reviews are a curse, causing information overload = plus the crush of too many divergent opinions. But after reviewing a number of similar items I found many reviewers report that some of them are falsely described as gigabit devices when their actual labeled speed is much less. Thats why I went with Linksys. Its a well made component from a reputable manufacturer. The product is a little more expensive, but worth it in my book.

11-06-2025I love this hub. It is plug and play. There is a rating question about tech support, Im sure its top notch but I wouldnt know because I didnt have to use it. Like I said plug and play. It was so easy and everything plugged into it is working fine.

> 3 dayFioptics install a Google gateway which had only one output jack. I needed two. This switch did more than I hoped and now I am getting 800+ Mbps on both outputs.

> 3 dayI needed an Ethernet switch that had enough ports to connect my Linksys Velop Mesh router system, my Ring security system, and to hard connect my laptop via Ethernet for those Zoom calls where I wanted to ensure no wifi dropping. This switch works perfectly for all of that with ports still available. It’s small and easy to work with. I also ordered some short (1’) Ethernet cables to help with cord management since all of the units were close together. It’s been over a month and everything is working great with no issues.

> 3 dayThis is my second 8 port switch from Linksys. I have daisy chained it to my first 8 port Linksys and have several devices now operating off my Spectrum Router. Works good and is well made.

> 3 dayAfter reading reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the initial quality. Tight little switch, and feels well made. Getting full switched 1Gb/Gigabit rates. No heat or loose connection issues. Works have preferred power and RJ-45 connections on the same side for neatness, but its fine as is...

> 3 dayWorks exactly as it should. Simple Plug-and-Play. Could not be any simpler! Now have my entrainment center hard wired. And a free/empty port to plug in another something. No more lag in gaming and watching movies on smart TV. Even being used at the same time.
