> 3 dayI got this knife after learning that my Jungle knife 11 was a fake one, this is my preferred choice for outdoors as I am often in the field and a blade always comes in handy. Simple but quality knife. This knife is a very good knife for an accessible blade. Comes really sharp so be careful around it and if you have a molle system backpack get the case because it rooks. The grip is good, it says is anti-slippery and really does its job, but with a knife like this your need to be extra careful while trying to force it. Im planning on buying a shorter Morakniv blade for my front molle system so its handy and does not get in my way.

Greater than one weekKnife is for meat only in my opinion. In that right very good knife. I like it but only for meat processing. Quartering mid to large animal. To Sharp for skinning and to long for wood carving. To hard and brettal for diving. I like it just not a edc.

> 3 dayThis is well designed and thought out. The blade/steel quality is very good. Its sharp and super easy to tune up/sharpen. The handle feels solid with a grippy (friction pattern grip) and its easy to use for most cutting tasks. The sheath holds the knife snug and securely in place and its easy to remove quickly. The ferro rod lives in a solid snug sheath that is removable from the knife sheath and holds it in place solidly. It is a good size, is easy to get a stable firm grip on the handle and it is easy to get a good effective strike. The ferro rod sheath also has a diamond media sharpening strip attached to its outside edge for blade tuning. I really appreciate that they made the sheath design modular meaning that the ferro rod sheath can be easily removed for any blade sharpening/tuning and the belt loop can also be removed which is great since the knife sheath fits perfectly in a molle loop and since the sheath is made of plastic I can also add a strip of velcro to attach to a molle backpack or vest. This knife is a great value for the quality, good design and what is offered in this kit.

Greater than one weekGreat knife! I have several different Mora knives of varying sizes and builds. This one rivals the heavy duty version of the Companion for heft and use. The 90° spine is a plus, as is the small ferro rod included. Theres also a diamond sharpening strip, but Ill never use that except for chipped edge repair as its way too coarse to maintain the fine edge this comes with. Ill stick with whetstones and stropping, thanks. Seems like a gimmick rather than practical. The dual grind is interesting and functional for finer work near the tip. While I prefer carbon steel for bushcraft, this one has the stainless blade. Its JUST a hair thinner than I like for serious crafting like batonning, but is still robust enough for that - could be just a little thicker, especially when using the more brittle stainless. This ones going in my hiking pack.

> 3 dayI ordered this knife for 39.99 for the orange with a cheaper green version avaliable. I was expecting the worst. A cheap knife made in China that I would soon badly dent or break. I was so incredibly pleasantly surprised when it passed every test with flying colors. I jammed the tip into a tree and bent the tip. Batoned a rock hard wood log, and made a sharp spear with all bark stripped off. I then cut a banana with it and it was razor sharp. Sharpest factory edge ever. More durable than my most expensive knives. BUY THIS KNIFE.

> 3 dayIve had this knife for about six months. I use this knife for just about everything in the kitchen. It stays sharp and the grip is great for wet hands. When its time to take a camping trip, I grab this knife and it goes into the pack. The provided sheath is great and offers drain holes so that you dont retain water in it. Well made and the blade keeps an edge well.

> 3 dayGreat all purpose fixed blade. I like the shaved front of the blade for precision work. Yet the base of the blade is very robust.

Greater than one weekI just got this so I havent used it out in the wild yet. I plan to bring it on day hiking trips (where Ill hopefully never actually have to use it for anything major) and camping. I like the included firestarter, which is mounted onto the knife sheath. Its nice to have both survival tools in one place. Its a fixed blade so overall its kind of long, but due to the blade being some kind of light plastic, it actually weighs noticeably less than a good quality folding pocket knife, so it wont add much weight to your pack. The color is more subdued orange than in the photos, but still stands out as it should. Before choosing this knife, I read about other Morakniv knives and they are all favorably reviewed. I have no doubt this knife will last me a long time.
