I ended up buying two of these so that way when I clean one, I can put the other one in and get it setup quickly for my hamster. They’re not the best to clean. It can be a pain. I have to scrub it down in my bathtub with gentle non-scented soap. My hamster though loves it! She always makes her sleeping nest in the left corner. Food in the top middle. Potty in the bottom left corner. She’s pretty organized and I would say it’s her perfect home. I just wish it was easier to clean.

I would like it a bit better if it came with some sort of finish or sealant on the side? Or if there was an option for it to come pre-sealed Anyone have any good hamster-safe wood sealant? I like the natural idea for some people i guess though. Or even if you guys sold a sealant that specificly went with the product so i wouldnt have to think so hard about whats hamster safe. But to be fair, i knew what i was buying. I didnt think it would be this huge of an issue though. Because its unfinished, its really hard to clean without introducing more moisture to the wood. My buddy just has decided to pee only in one of the chambers which obviously gets gross quick (dark, wet, warm. YUCK!). Very sturdy though! Awesome little maze hideout. Im sure if barnaby had thumbs, theyd be up. Sometimes the lid is finicky but nothing a little force doesnt fix, lol. Seems as thick as it needs to be! Very solid.

Ever since I put this in my Syrian hamsters tank, it’s become his new favorite place to be. He sleeps in the furthest one and uses the middle space as his restroom. I wish it just came with an optional bottom, though I understand for burrowing convenience. Simple to assemble but lid doesn’t stay on

Our hamster absolutely loves this box! She has made one room a sleeping room, she has a chew toy in one, she hides food in one, and she pees in one. I love that you can easily remove the top to check on her with minimal interruption. Highly recommend for hamster owners!

I adopted a ghost hamster, one who is shy around people despite socializing attempts, and he seems to love this house. Hes a large Syrian and this offers plenty of room. The lid comes off for easy health checks and cleanings. My hamster uses the room farthest from the entrance as his sleeping food storage 1 space. the middle room is extra food storage and he keeps the entrance empty. It seems he likes having all those options within the home, especially since hes shy. The top of the home offers a great space to add his dust bath and other cage features. Its very sturdy and I had no problems with the seller.

My daughters hamster has lived in this since we got it. She loves it. My daughter knocks on the too and she peaks out:) she has her wheel on top and food dish and it’s very sturdy for them so the food doesn’t spill and the wheel isn’t wobbly or stuck in the bedding and is silent at night. Looks nice in the “natural” habitat my daughter has designed for her baby.

This is the main hide my hamster is always in he loves it and it’s easy to clean the top comes off.
