Photomatix Pro 6

Ive only begun to use this package and have mainly used it to tone map single exposures. Sometimes I detect only a small difference between its results and what I can achieve with the Levels adjustments in CS2, but sometimes Im blown away by the results. I consider this an excellent purchase.

Had a lot of fun with this program - it needed more options when choosing effects. I hear they are now downloadable. My Lightroom 6 now comes with HDR making this no longer needed.

I have begun teaching HDR photography in my photography classes. Needless to say, we use Photomatix Pro in that class. Although there are other useful software products, Photomatix Pro is by far the most comprehensive. It allows you to make many interpretations of the same set of exposures. You can go from realistic, to super realistic, to over the top with the same set of origingal captures. Granted, it is a little intimidating the first few times you encounter the Detail Enhancer interface (to say the least!), but with a little practice it quickly becomes familiar. You will need to post process most of the images you create in an image editing program to achieve optimal results. But this is also a way to make addition interpretations of your image because of the great amount of detail in images made with HDR techniques. I highly recommend this product!

The C.D. arrived on time and in perfect condition. It came with the codes to register online and was obviousy new. The C.D. comes with a tutorial on it so the box is unneeded packaging.Saved 50% just to forego the box, thats a deal!

This is HDR, Photomatix Pro awesome in HDR, compatible to photoshop, lightroom and aperture , a valued photo editing tool, must have it.

This is great software and withe the upgrade that is free with the purchase to 4.0 it is fantastic and allows for more artistic involvement.

Very poor software. Probably get better off a free one. Doesnt do anything like what its meant to. I wish I paid that little bit extra for a better software. This one wasnt cheap

This is a brilliant piece of kit. So easy to install alongside Photoshop and Lightroom and so easy to use. I have read so much on the internet about different hdr products and this one seemed to be the best. I cant imagine being without it now. Just load your three exposure shots and let the software do its thing, the results are stunning and, if you dont like what you see, its so easy to tweak the colours and saturation etc. Plus, there are lots and lots of presets you can play around with.
