> 3 dayPhotomatix Pro 6 is an excellent post photography program for HDR photos. The program has a bit of a learning curve but nothing beyond the capabilities of anyone somewhat experienced in Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop. Its a stand-alone program and a Lightroom plug-in, too, for combining photos into HDR, with a huge array of available adjustments. And its ability to transform the ordinary into the spectacular is nothing short of amazing.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised and is pretty easy to use. Its not going to make your photos mind-blowing though, youve got to do that all by yourself. It does HDR a hell of a lot better than adobe lightroom, but its also not a great stand alone software either. If you pair this with lightroom and photoshop together, youve got a pretty nice combo.

Greater than one weekHad a lot of fun with this program - it needed more options when choosing effects. I hear they are now downloadable. My Lightroom 6 now comes with HDR making this no longer needed.

> 3 dayI chose this product to help me produce something a little different with my photographs. It takes some getting used to but the effects are stunning, depending on the subject. Maybe a little expensive but I enjoy using it. It was delivered within a few days of ordering.

> 3 dayMost things these days dont come with a printed handbook and you are left to either print out a costly PDF or try to work out how to use it on screen. Hopeless if its software and you have to keep switching between screens.

> 3 dayAs a professional photographer who travels a lot, I have a chance to see some of most beautiful places on this amazing planet of ours. Inevitably, some of the photos I take I like to print in large format and frame (as every other photographer, Im sometimes vain too :) ). The best compliment I could give to some of these places is to process them in HDR and print them on metallic paper and thats where Photomatix Pro comes in play. Ive been using version 4 for quite some time, mostly in trial version but in all truth, investing $99 in buying a full version (5 is out already) is a bargain.
