Photomatix Pro 6

Ive tried various methods of producing HDR images and thus far Ive been most successful with Photomatix Pro 4, using in conjunction with Adobe Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5. After installation of Photomatix Pro 4, I went to the HDRsoft website and downloaded updates to the program and the 32 bit HDR merge plug-in. I have not been impressed with my results using the plug-in. It could be that I have not yet mastered the adjustments in this plug-in to render satisfactory results. I am going for a realistic blending of my bracketed exposures and not the surrealistic results that seem to be so popular today. I have been able to achieve satisfactory results using Photomatix Pro 4 as a standalone program and then tweaking my resultant image in Photoshop. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend Photomatix Pro 4 to anyone interested in producing high quality HDR images. BTW, you can get some interesting surrealistic results if thats what you desire. Warning: There is a bit of a learning curve with this software, but there are a lot of helpful tutorials on the web to help you along.

Photomatix works pretty good but I cant import NEF images directly from my hard drive or SD card. If I do the images are tinted red, green or blue. I have to take an indirect approach by importing the images into Lightroom or Photoshop, save them, and then import into Photmatix. After that, the program works great. That process, however, has grown tiresome and Ive switched to Googles Nik Software bundle that does HDR and a whole lot more. Photomatix rarely gets used anymore and only deserves 3 stars in my opinion.

I really like the editing software that this is and it works pretty well with my lightroom so keep up the good work

I must say that I am truly grateful that I found this particular HDR photo editing software because it has done wonders to my photos. I kept seeing this item listed on Amazon , but always hesitated to order it for some odd reason. Oneday, I finally decided to take a step and try it out after reading some other positive reviews from others about it. I really enjoy using this software . It provides great HDR enhancement features for each of your photos.This item will truly take your photography to another level altogether. I believe it is definitely worth the money. Great product !

this program is amazing, its great for full frame pics. high recomended. just in the delivery time...im prime user and i have problems whit the delivery time.

Love it! I have started to use it and the results are outstanding. Also, it is easy to use. The learning curve is not very difficult. I followed it, so you can too.
