PlayStation Vita Memory Card 64GB (PCH-Z641J)

> 24 hourToday I got my 64GB memory card for the PS Vita/PS TV. I first tried it in the PS TV and it works fine. It shows 60GB of usable memory, which is probably going to be more than enough. I dont think Ill be swapping the card out from the Vita to the TV because every time you move it from one to the other, it rearranges all of your downloaded games, which is annoying if you ask me. I got my Vita the day it came out and I just recently filled up all but 212MB of space on the 32GB card I got when I bought it. While I think it is overpriced for what it is (like most of the other posts Ive read), I believe youll get your moneys worth out of it as you fill it up with whatever you put on your Vita/PS TV.

> 24 hourI feel that I should write a review on this due to the other review posted that was negative. 1st off the card works great, the card doesnt offer a full 64gb of memory but it does give 59gb. I ordered this from japan and it arrived shortly and works great on the American vita models, it has all of the space I need and more. In reference to the other person who feels that the card costs as much as the system, someone probably ordered a few and is raising the price by a large margin. These cards will only cost about $100 when they are released in the USA, the one card available through amazon prime is setting prices that are unreasonable, $175 is far too much however I was able to get one for $125 through Hananoiro Shop. If you need the space then I would say to get this card, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. P.S. Ive noticed that a lot of people have been giving this product negative reviews, I wanted to just tell people that these guys arent upset because the product is faulty or defective but they gave it poor reviews because they are unhappy with the price. Update 3-18-2014 Ive already filled up my card and ill be buying a second one, I still recommend this product greatly and I wanted to inform people that certain games will take up a lot of space like the release of Final Fantasy X for the PS Vita which takes up a whopping 6.6GB, I do agree its overpriced but I need another one and Im just grateful that they make a card this big since the original PSP maxed out at 32GB, hopefully in the future they release an even bigger card around 128GB but im fairly certain for this format that they wont and if they did it would be over $200 easy Update 7-13-2014 The vita can play certain PS1 games such as MGS1, to transfer them youll have to buy them on your ps3 and manually sync them with a USB cable

> 24 hourI upgraded from a 16GB card to the 64GB, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Now I dont have to worry about juggling which games I want to store on the card. One caveat though; you only get access to 59GB of it. What I have on the card now: Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Escape Plan Jet Set Radio Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Tearaway Uncharted Golden Abyss The Walking Dead Season 1 (Telltale game) BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Dead or Alive 5+ Demo Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Mortal Kombat Street Fighter X Tekken Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DJMax Technika Tune Sound Shapes Need for Speed Wanted Sonic Transformed Killzone Mercenary Unit 13 Luftrausers Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational Gods Eater Burst Mega Man Maverick Hunter X Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Still got 11GB left.

> 24 hourReally wish Sony had used a micro SD card but understand they were trying to sell their product. People have found hacks around this but if youd like to keep your system compliant this is the best available option for large capacity. Now that the Vita has been discontinued Im guessing this items will further increase in price so get them now.

> 24 hourNow that I have this card, I have an abundance of space. It took a month to get here (I thought this was a globalized economy), but it was worth the wait. There are no region compatibility issues, and a simple restore with the backup utility had me back to gaming within a half hour. I can finally download all my PS+ titles and not even be using half of this thing. To top it off, you wont find a better $/GB on any other card size (as of right now). Lastly, it is true that this only ends up being ~59GB shown on the system. This is due to the difference between base 2 (binary) and base 10 (metric) systems (1024/prefix vs 1000/prefix). The math is all there, and 64GB looks more appealing than 59.6GiB. This marketing is used for every piece of storage out there. Dont worry. Youre not getting cheated.

> 24 hourIts a huge memory card, and if like me you like to keep a lot of games and podcasts on hand its pretty sweet. It has no region locking and shows no slow down when used in the Vita. Just be aware you need a Playstation Plus subscription to back up most of your digital PS Vita games saves. So if like me you deleted games before they added PS+ cloud saving to the system you will have to start from scratch unless the game itself uses its own cloud saves (like StarDrone, Playstation All-Stars, and Soundshapes do to enable save transfers with their PS3 counterparts). Digital versions of Vita only games like Uncharted Golden Abyss and Gravity Daze however cant have their data backed up without the service. Though those two are free with the service itself so if you havent bought them yet and want them it makes the pill a bit easier to swallow. Just buy a subscription, back up all your saves, then when the new Memory card shows up youre set, get youre games downloaded off the store, touch the + icon on the games/app start screen and itll bring up the download from the cloud option. Its important to note this issue will not effect Physical PS Vita, PS One Classics, Minis, or PSP game saves.

> 24 hourYou will need this to get the most out of your Vita. While you can use a smaller memory card and be ok, this is perfect for people who dont want to have to swap out memory cards. Everyone has already said this but it is worth saying again. This memory card is way to expensive......way too expensive. Sony in typical fashion has gone with proprietary memory. I do understand them wanting to control the platform because of the amount of piracy that happened with the PSP. It would have been nice if they would have lowered the prices of all of these memory cards giving people more space to put games on them. This would help raise purchase numbers if they have more space to store them.

> 24 hourRegistered at 61gb in system info ,57gb in content manager. Downloaded 15 games on there so far excellent storage i read many reviews leading to this purchase, research lead me to the series ending in j not g many quality issues were stated as well as memory loss/ less than purchased. Happy so far read a couple reviews about memory cards breaking; as i will not be removing this at all once i receive my new vita i will see how it lasts in the long haul my 16gb card has lasted me a year+ with no issues other than being small but you get what you pay for. I would reccomend a bigger card at first it will save you in the long run please believe me as the PS store has many great sales throughout the year with almost a new sale weekly and with ps+ you get 2 free games a month with some odd balls and others being a steal for free!!!! If you miss something in a sale it will be back with patience. Please help bring back this amazing forgotten gem of a console!!!!

> 24 hourYes, its hard to swallow the price of this card, and it would be nice if it didnt have to be imported to the US, but that being said, I am EXTREMELY happy to have it. I really like the idea of going all-digital for many reasons, like 1. dont have to take extra time to shuffle around game cards if you want to switch out games when youre on the go, 2. dont have to find space to carry all the extra cards when traveling, 3. environmentally friendly, 4. load times seem to be more forgiving with some titles, and 5. with some patience, I have largely been able to find digital sales for games that well exceed physical sale prices. I had been juggling two 8g cards since the launch of the Vita Slim (pain in the culo), and since that time I have saved so much money on digital sales, I decided to grab a 64g card. Shortly after, I was gifted a one-year PS+ subscription, and am stoked to have this card now for the IGL as well as for the PSP and PSOne library titles. I have 41 games on this card and still have over 25g to spare. I would also say that for the current price of a 32g card, it made more sense to me to pay the little bit extra for the 64g card. So, something else to think about there, because I dont think Ill be hurting for space any time soon. I havent had any issues at all with this card and transferring data or recognizing content. The shipping was very fast (much faster than the estimated time by weeks). I really cant think of any reason for a Vita owner not to have this card, ESPECIALLY if they are a PS+ subscriber.

> 24 hourThe card functions fine even though its Japanese the vita is region free and it can run with any game or card as long as its for the PlayStation. The card fits a lot of games and other things you want to put into it without any problems I recommend getting it so that you dont need to keep swapping cards to be able to play games. Its totally worth it since there quite pricey.
