My typing is faster and error-free after upgrading to this keyboard from membrane keyboards. And I would say the feel is great and the keys are not too noisy, either. The biggest improvement is the reduction in mouse shoulder. My shoulders used to get very tense and sore due to mousing. This was in large part due to the width of a conventional keyboard forcing the mouse too be placed too far to the right. My mouse shoulder was so sore that I was forced to switch move the mouse to the left side, but that only created the same problems on my left. Sacrificing the number keypad was no problem, and the narrow dimensions means I can now use the mouse in an ergonomic position. Voila! My mouse shoulder symptoms have decreased 90+%, so much so that I havent had to switch the mouse to the left.

This is the first Razor keyboard that I have ever owned and let me start by saying that it is by far the best (keyboard) that I have ever owned. I was slightly skeptical at first just because I have always seen of myself as more of an membrane and thin laptop esq. keyboard kinda guy. I think that part of my skepticism was due to the less than good keyboards that were in every computer lab, in every school.I could not have been more incorrect. Absolutely everything from the responsiveness & sound of the keys, to the removable & extremely comfy wrist rest, and the customization (of which I have lost countless hours playing with), is AMAZING! I literally cannot think of a single disappointing thing about this keyboard. It would be nice if for future iterations to add a couple things, such as wireless capabilities (wishful thinking, and is understandable why its not) and an extra USB port on the keyboard itself (something which the larger models already have). Those arent even complaints, just wishes that would make an already outstanding keyboard that much better. Also, just make sure that you (and others within earshot of your keyboard) are ready to make the commitment to loud clicky keys. Personally I love the sound the keys make and dont think that I could ever go back to something more quiet. My girlfriend however, does not feel the same, and finds them rather loud/annoying when she is in the same room as me.

I bought this keyboard in December 2021, and its October 2022 now. I use this keyboard regularly for gaming, and everything has been great up until recently where my left alt key isnt working half the time I press it, and I use it a LOT for the game I play, so its not looking good. The tab key is also starting to not work when pressed. Id expect this to happen over time, but not when its been less than a year and other keyboards have never had this issue.

I love this keyboard! Before I bought this keyboard I was using a Blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed and I love that keyboard. The form factor, buttery smooth switches and the weight even though its made out of plastic it almost didnt feel like it it definitely felt premium. To compare the two this keyboard feels much lighter and plastic feeling no heftiness to it really, but despite that man o man the switches here (silent linear) are pure gold also the space bar has no rattle on the sides or center like most big name gaming keyboards do, not sure if they added spacers and lubed the keys, but they mustve. Next, the magnetic wrist rest. Thats what drawn me towards this keyboard, I was looking for a magnetic leatherette wrist rest and boom razer didnt let me down comfy, soft and most important it seems pretty oil resistant(regarding skin oils). Take note, many here in the reviews say that the magnets arent strong enough, I would have to disagree with that, its legit perfect not sure why you would have to pry your wrist rest off of your keyboard, its strong enough to not move for intense games like comp fps. Its something that really brought this keyboard together. I would love to see this, though it most likely will never happen is adding this exact keyboard style with their hyperspeed tech (I would love this keyboard to be wireless). Also, added weight. Finally, modding this thing. Something I plan to add(but definitely not necessary for the average user)is EVA foam. That should help with any resonance which there isnt much at all. Also, razers doubleshot pbt keycaps.

Great product, I love the keys these switches are nice and clicky. I can type & do all my things and just bang on it and it sounds like im a fancy hacker. I just got it and this review is pretty much a few minutes after having it. If i had a con it would be the height of the actual keys from the base of the keyboard body. They are pretty high if you are not using a wristrest your hand may get tired. Its just a sentence of typing and my hands were feeling fatigued. I dropped the kickstands back down to make it flat and its immediately much better. Yeah this is a great keyboard on a deal.

I upgraded frm to 2014 Blackwidow so comparing the construction quality is still great. Plastic is the main frame of the keyboard, the color and the texture changed in the V2 and also the legend of the keycaps. The switches I choose this time were the yellow linear since they were the lightest. They feel smooth to press. The only one that has like a scratchy feeling is the space bar when hitting it from the edges, that doesnt bother me since I use my thumb in the center to press it. Overall a great upgrade for me, its the same keyboard layout that Im use to just with RGB and better switches. I havent used the wrist rest, I find it not necessary since the default inclination is good. If you are in the market for a mechanical keyboard and you want RGB do not fear the Razer brand, its a really good product and the keycaps are durable.

This is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after it came highly recommended from a friend who has the Razer Ultimate. I have used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got introduced to computers and the clicky sound of the keys was intriguing; and over the period of time silent keyboards took over my life and became a norm. I think this is a very well made keyboard and the keys are back-lit and responsive. I primarily use it for office work and occasional gaming. I type fast and some of the keyboards I have used in the past have a bouncy feel to them while some others have keys that have resistance built-in them; but this keyboard is not like that; the keys press so easily and retract back very quickly offering good tactile feedback...you type and you are ready for the next press allowing you to type so fast and accurately. The spacing of the keys is good too and the crunchy & clicky sound is like a rhythm for my mind and the ears wanting me to type more. This is Razers compact keyboard version and does not have a number pad; so not ideal for number crunchers. Dimensions of the keyboard is 14 x 5 x 0.5 inch (355 x 127 x 12.7 mm) and comes with a braided detachable cable. This is suppose to be a tactile & silent keyboard but in reality they are not quiet; they have that clicky sound to them which I desired most. However, it comes with orange colored sound dampeners (called O-rings) in the box which need to be put around the keys to keep them silent; I have not done that though. Overall, a great compact keyboard for a super fast typing experience if you can live without the number pad.

I like the keyboard but I got it from Amazon warehouse. I came without the O rings and key puller. It looked like someone just took them out and sent the keyboard back to Amazon because the keyboard looked like it hadnt been touched or the cable unfolded.

it is a great keyboard, sounds spectacular but after a month occasionally when I press a key it will type out as two which can sometimes get annoying but doesnt bother me while gaming
