> 3 dayI used a regular Black Widow Chroma for years before switching to this one. I use it primarily for gaming so I like the feedback and feel of a mechanical keyboard but I wanted something quieter. While this is definitely not silent, it is noticeably quieter than the green switches. I took to the feel of the orange switches immediately with no issue as they really do have a pleasant feel in my opinion. They still give satisfying feedback with each key press despite feeling different so it was easy to swap to this one without feeling like anything was lost between the two. If youre looking for something truly silent, this is not it, but theres an obvious difference compared to the green switches. This tenkeyless one doesnt have the USB port on the side like the normal one and I do miss that but I knew this upon buying it. The power cord is a very ample length though; my tower is several feet away from my desk and there is cord to spare. The RGB lighting is stellar and each key can be individually programmed to any color you can think of. With Razer Synapse, you can save multiple profiles that are easy to switch between and the level of customization you get is almost overwhelming because there is just so much you can do. You can set it to stay on the color(s) you want or pick one of many light patterns and also change the brightness. I think Synapse is quite user friendly and I was able to easily figure out how to do everything I wanted with it just by playing around with it a little on my own. Ive never used a wrist pad before but this came with one so I tried it out. Its magnetic and snaps right on and stays securely but I really disliked using it. Its nicely padded but I felt it raised my wrist a little too high for it to feel natural during use. Luckily it isnt built in so I just easily removed it and simply dont use it. After weeks with this, Im extremely happy with it. Its in perfect condition and I have no issues with any keys sticking or anything like that. I had my previous Razer keyboard for many years and its still going strong. I only switched because I wanted a smaller and quieter one and Ive seen nothing at so far that would make me doubt this ones longevity.

> 3 dayWanted a tkl for gaming and working from home. I definitely found it with this one. The orange switches are nice and tactile with a quieter but still audible actuation. The included o-rings are essential for the sound to be dampened further and since this is advertised as a silent keyboard Id say the rings are completely necessary to get as close to that as possible. Typing feel good and smooth, caps sit at a normal height, not flat like a mac keyboard for reference. I type quick and the board responds well with no accidental keystrokes. Aesthetically I love the minimal look of the board, lighting is vibrant on full and can be minimized from the keyboard shortcuts or through Razer Synapse. Keycaps are ABS and after more than 2 months of daily use, mainly gaming, the WASD keys are a bit shiny but otherwise the board holds up to all my expectations.

> 3 dayLove this keyboard. This is the 4th mechanical keyboard I have in 10 years. Used 12 hours a day for programming, writing, and gaming. Bright, even, pleasant neutral-white backlighting is crisp and even, great to not have to deal with blinking and pulsing RGB toys. Keys are pleasant and clicky, with great feedback. Removable USB cable is great for switching between computers, and for transport. Easily removable yet durable keycaps make it easy to clean, too. Lack of a numpad is great for those of us who dont use it, the space saving is surprisingly significant, the keyboard no longer dominates desk space. The only potential con is, the bottom half of the keycaps is not backlit (ie the 4 glows, the $ does not). However, in my experience this isnt an issue. Though as a software dev I touch-type the symbol keys, obviously I cant touch-type the keyboard-specific volume, multimedia, and brightness keys - and yet, the glow of the monitor is enough to make them usable even at night. If you are visually impaired, or otherwise need to be able to clearly see the symbol keys, this may be significant for you, but only if you plan on using this keyboard in total darkness. If youre like me and wont be hampered by this, go for it! You wont regret it.

> 3 dayWhen I tell you this Keyboard is the best ive ever owned (or used for that matter) I make no exaggeration :D the lights arent overpowering, keys feel and sound great to the tap, only feedback would be to get a wrist cushion as the keys are quite tall and was odd to get used at the start. Have not used the muting elastics quite yet but would definitely purchase again in a heartbeat if the need arose!

Greater than one weekPrior to purchasing this I had been using a Razer Cynosa which was a decent keyboard but I wanted something without a ten-key to save space on my desk and give more room for mouse movement when gaming. The Razer Synapse software is easy to use to configure shortcuts and lighting, especially if all of your peripherals are in the Razer ecosystem. I enjoy the removable wrist rest, as sometimes it can be too much for gaming but at other times it is needed for long periods of typing. The removable USB cable is nice for cleaning up. I should also note that I did replace the keycaps with Razers PBT set but the keycaps that came with it were still nice. Definitely a great choice for a TKL gaming keyboard, and after hundreds of hours of use ive noticed no ghosting or issues.

> 3 dayIve only had this product for a few months. I have the yellow keys. Ive been noticing keypresses registering more than once. I see this with the s key and e keys for example. I first noticed it while gaming and it would result in mistakes made during the game and Ive also noticed it with typing where I have to go back and make corrections. This did not happen prior to using this keyboard. It is bad enough that the keyboard has become unusable to me and I will be seeking a refund. Im very disappointed. *Update* Razer replaced my keyboard with a newer model so even though there was a defect, the company stood by their product and fixed the situation.

> 3 dayI purchased this keyboard as part of my Work from Home setup. I like the feel of the keys and its quiter than my other mechanical keyboard I use for gaming. I put the orange o-rings on, and its really only slightly quieter. I intend to take this keyboard to work for my office setup when my office opens back up. This keyboard looks very professional and the onboard controls allow me to adjust backlight without the need for the Razer Software, which is good for those trying to use the keyboard on a corporate computer. I like having the functionality of a mechanical keyboard without the rainbow of backlight, which cant be controlled on a corporate computer. Overall, a great keyboard that is good for gaming and work.

> 3 dayNot a gamer here, but I do like the feel of this keyboard. Having the ten keyless design is also beneficial since I havent frequently needed those keys anyway. They had simply taken more desk space and made the mouse further over to the side than necessary. My only gripe is that the keys are quite loud and are easily picked up by microphones during Zoom calls or video recording sessions where a lot of typing is involved. I suppose this is to be expected from most/all mechanical keyboards so dont let the silent key type throw you here, keypresses are far from silent!

> 3 dayThis is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after it came highly recommended from a friend who has the Razer Ultimate. I have used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got introduced to computers and the clicky sound of the keys was intriguing; and over the period of time silent keyboards took over my life and became a norm. I think this is a very well made keyboard and the keys are back-lit and responsive. I primarily use it for office work and occasional gaming. I type fast and some of the keyboards I have used in the past have a bouncy feel to them while some others have keys that have resistance built-in them; but this keyboard is not like that; the keys press so easily and retract back very quickly offering good tactile feedback...you type and you are ready for the next press allowing you to type so fast and accurately. The spacing of the keys is good too and the crunchy & clicky sound is like a rhythm for my mind and the ears wanting me to type more. This is Razers compact keyboard version and does not have a number pad; so not ideal for number crunchers. Dimensions of the keyboard is 14 x 5 x 0.5 inch (355 x 127 x 12.7 mm) and comes with a braided detachable cable. This is suppose to be a tactile & silent keyboard but in reality they are not quiet; they have that clicky sound to them which I desired most. However, it comes with orange colored sound dampeners (called O-rings) in the box which need to be put around the keys to keep them silent; I have not done that though. Overall, a great compact keyboard for a super fast typing experience if you can live without the number pad.
