The feel of it. It doesnt feel cheap. The buttons are pretty responsive with no lag or at least no noticeable lag.

This is great for the genesis mini console. The wireless works well, no noticeable input lag and the controller feels good. That being said, the dongles for the actual Genesis console seem to be poorly designed in that you cant plug them both in without some angled USB adapter because the space between the two isnt wide enough to plug in a regular micro USB to provide it power.

This is a very good controller. The d-pad and buttons feel great. The only downside is that the controller is not as comfortable to hold as the 8BitDo M30, but if you’re not familiar with that controller, I don’t think you’d be disappointed by the Retro-Bit controller.

Purchased two of these wireless controllers and both do not work on two different Genesis mini consoles. I also have the wired versions and they work flawlessly. Stick with the wired controllers for your Genesis mini.

The controller seemed well made and had good feel like the original sega controllers but i couldnt get the home button to be detected in recalbox controller config.

I can finally play the Genesis without wires! I dont notice any additional lag, and the controller feels just like the regular six-button.

This product is great with lower latency and lag when compared to the 8bitdo m30 2.4g wireless controller. Great battery life and charges fast. The only thing that could be improved in a future firmware update is the option for turbo functionality. Maybe the turbo functionality can be accessed through a button combo similar to start + b buttons for switching between 3 and 6 button mode.

Very good presentation with a dedicated case and a 90s-looking packaging, the built quality is excellent and works without any hassle. If you are a Genesis fan, it is a must-have item.

Very disappointed with this controller; quite the let-down really. This controller was SO close to perfect. Dont let great feeling and quality external appearances fool you, the internals of these controllers are complete junk. Had 2 different new in box units delivered to me that were BOTH DOA. While the receivers both worked in both instances, the controllers themselves were stone-dead refusing to connect when plugged in directly with USB cable or even take a charge. Highly suggest 8bitdos M30 for OG Sega Genesis instead. While it doesnt follow as closely in design and styling vs. this product which is licensed by Sega, it works at the very least and at that, reliably and consistently.

This controller does offer long battery life, feels right to me having grown up playing the original Genesis, and works just fine... But theres a definite quality control problem with the plastic tabs that operate the D-pad. One of them broke within less than two hours of use, and contacting the manufacturer was no help. At least I was able to repair it myself with some super glue and none of the other tabs have snapped off.
