> 3 dayIt arrived ahead of schedule, and has the look and feel of the classic genesis controller. My only issue is there isnt any instruction on how to turn off the controller when youre done playing. Im still trying to figure that out. Other than that, its a lot of fun.

> 3 dayLove this controller. Works perfectly with my Genesis mini and my original Genesis model 1. I updated the firmware for both receivers before I started. One thing to note is that on the Genesis mini you would normally hold the start button down for a few seconds to get out of a game your playing to get to the Genesis mini menu. With this controller you can just hit the select button which is easier. If you use project lunar with your Genesis mini the games that you use a different core with retroarch you have to still hold the start button down like you would on the stock controller. Overall I would highly recommend this controller as it enables you to properly play some games like Street fighter 2 and mortal kombat which use more than 3 buttons. Also it cleans up my room since I dont have to have the Genesis/mini pulled out so my wired controller can reach. Now it sits clean on the tv stand and the wireless works perfectly. I have not noticed any additional lag or anything. I have attached a picture of the wireless controller next to my original 6 button Sega controller for reference. Its pretty much the same size. I cant see myself using the 3 button controller anymore after this purchase.

> 3 dayThe design of these pads is almost 1:1 with original Genesis controllers, Retro-bit make quality products, and I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to cut the cords out of the equation!

> 3 dayI recently acquired a highly customized Stainless Steel Cased Neo Geo MVS console. It has controller ports for the original Neo Geo, Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis and PlayStation 2. I cant find any Neo Geo wireless controllers and highly doubt they ever existed. I had used wireless PlayStation 2 controllers several years ago but all that I could find available now run on two AAA batteries. I wanted a solution that would work with my port options and be rechargeable. This gave me the choice of the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis (this model) or the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn wireless controllers. Both models are available with or without the extra USB dongle. I decided to buy the model with the extra USB dongle. My reasoning for buying the dual purpose model was I had a lot of doubt this would work on my Neo Geo console. If it didnt work, I could at least use it with a PC. Now that I know it works perfectly, I will probably give the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn model a try. Im glad I took a chance because now I can play my Neo Geo console with a wireless controller. The button layout isnt exactly where I would put them but very close. The Start button is still the Start button and the Select button adds coins to continue. Pressing Start and Select at the same time gets me into my BIOS to make changes there if I want. The same BIOS menu can act as Pause. All things considered, I think its about as perfect a solution as I could hope for. I dont own a Sega Genesis but I did use it a bit on PC running retro games with emulators and I find it great for that purpose as well. I have no doubts it would work on an original Sega Genesis and it does make a decent PC controller for emulators. If you need a controller for either, this is a good choice.

14-06-2025This joystick model doesnt have cord, of course, its a wireless joystick. Very good for both old sega genesis as genesis minis and othes devices like PCs.

> 3 dayReplicates the original 6-button Genesis controller perfectly. Works so well with Genesis Mini and the Switch too!

> 3 dayThe controller is comfortable to hold, easy to get working and synced with included receiver, and completely removes the hassle of ever having to plug and unplug cords ever again. At this point having wireless controls for all retro consoles is a must and these fit that bill well for the sega genesis. The SEGA branding on the controllers themselves pushes these over the edge since similar wireless options do not have that. It makes them look stock like the video game console from the 90s would have had these as an option even back then. A must by for anyone still playing SEGA consoles in 2021. Only drawback is they charge with micro usb instead of usb C.

> 3 daySo far so good. The controller works well, although it does feel a little cheap. PAIRING was an issue until I figured out that the instructions are incorrect. After you plug the receiver into the consoles port and press the start button on your controller (turning it on), you need to PRESS & HOLD THE SYNC BUTTON ON THE RECEIVER AND THEN PRESS THE START BUTTON ON YOUR CONTROLLER. The biggest plus on this controller (which Ive been waiting on) is that since it has the extra Sega Genesis receiver, you can use the controller on your original Sega Genesis. BUT, most people dont know this, you can also use this receiver on your Retron 5 AND your original Atari 2600!!! Yep, thats right. You can now play your original Atari 2600 wirelessly. The original Atari 2600 controller ports are the same as the Sega Genesis which means that you can use Genesis controllers on your Atari (which is how I play my vintage Atari games). I tested this wireless controller on both consoles and sure enough, it works great. Happy gaming!

10-06-2025Pros: Authentic style and feel, additional shoulder buttons, Genesis and USB bluetooth adapters included, good response time, decent battery life Cons: High cost Bottom Line: These are the best Bluetooth controllers available for the Genesis. These can also be used on the Genesis classic via the USB Bluetooth adapters thats included. The addition of shoulder buttons makes the controller more versatile as you can use it for retro gaming on several other consoles. I feel the pricepoint though is a bit high as there are better options out there for retro gaming at a cheaper rate. If you want a solid Genesis specific controller though, this is the way to go.

> 3 dayThe controller seemed well made and had good feel like the original sega controllers but i couldnt get the home button to be detected in recalbox controller config.
