I want to start off by saying Thank You Samsung for the Data Migration software, I had no idea it existed until my SSD actually arrived. I was installing the SSD while reading the reviews & everyone mentioned how the software made it easier to transfer OS which was the one of the main reasons why I purchased the 1TB version so I didn’t have to worry about my older ADATA 256GB OS SSD filling up. The transfer itself took about 1-2 minutes & after a restart the new drive was ready to use. Overall the experience was buttery smooth & way better than expected

SSD was easy to install on my Dell laptop, perfect size for my needs. The SSD operates flawlessly.

This is the second time Ive bought this exact drive, and the second time its failed within months. The first one I had replaced by Samsung (I received a refurbished one that I now have as a spare), but it took so long to get the replacement that I had to buy a second drive in the mean time. Now that second one I purchased has failed in the same exact way: it doesnt stay mounted, it has trouble reading data, and has data loss. I cannot recommend these drives under any condition. They are flaky and shouldnt be sold.

I have two of these in my gaming computer and one of them in my backup computer highly recommend it no issues will definitely buy from again

Samsung recommends using their migration tool. It works well. Installs easily with good directions. But be patient it takes some time to copy the drive.

My laptop works smoother so far and will save me money couple of years from needing to upgrade to a newer lapop.

Must have for if you download many games
