> 3 dayThere is something wrong with the 870EVO batch reliability at least with the 4TB drives, I am seeing multiple drives failing within 4-5 months. My previous 2TB Samsung SSDs lasted 5 years in this NAS.

13-06-2025From the look of the box and the lack of a genuine seel it looks not to be a genuine Samsungs drive as portraited in the description and its photos. In addition, it has only three year warranty instead of the usual five years warranty for the previously purchased drives, which means lower quality!

> 3 dayReplaced another SSD 2.5 drive with this one in a Dell laptop. I had already installed a Samsung 2TB M2 boot drive in the laptop and the Samsung SSD works well with it and the free magician software keeps an eye on both drives.

System starts up faster, games load faster, reduced and sometimes non existent pop in of objects/textures, frame rate of certain games is also much more stable! Downloading games is a lot faster too since the SSD read/write speed is faster than the crappy default HDD.
