This SSD works very well. I have it connected via USB. Has not failed after 2 years like others Ive had.

The drive was delivered just hours after purchasing, cant say it was well protected in delivery, just the small manufacturer box placed in floppy bag with no bubble wrap in it. Product was very simple to install, swapped out the blown drive for the new one using same Sata III cable. This drive has worked perfectly since installation a few weeks ago. I would recommend it, my last drive was 500mb, this one is 2 TB so it will handle everything i previously had as well as an investment into the future for tomorrows software needs.

I have two of these drives at the moment and both have performed flawlessly. I am very happy with them and would recommend to others.

I have a couple of 850 Pro SSD drives and this 870 is just an EVO but performs as well as the 850 Pro that costs more. I also like the software that they have that lets you over-provision it.

In todays age mechanical drives are being phased out. Most dont last longer than five years. I seldom write to my drives and predict these drives should last at least 15 - 25 years max and save me money over time.
