> 3 dayThis is the first time I have seen packaging like this for a new Samsung drive, SSD or otherwise. Bizarre. Learning how to identify counterfeits. Dont know that there is a way to identify refurbished devices sold as new. The plain white box suggests that not much effort was made to disguise any subterfuge, so I suppose thats kind of good.

> 3 daySamsung provides the easiest method to install this drive. Cloning (Data Migration) the current boot drive takes 30 minutes and your done! Just physically install new drive and remove old HDD drive. Samsung Magician and Data Migration does it all.

> 3 dayEasy installation and transfer of operating system using the Samsung utility found on its website. Transfer took about 3 hours because I was using a usb2 port instead of a usb3. I expect to get a few more years from my laptop. Speed difference is impressive.

> 3 dayInsane. Never had an SSD failed so quickly in more than a decade. Definitely hope I can get a replacement!

> 3 dayUsed drive as my boot drive and died within 2 months. Neither Amazon support nor Samsung support have been helpful in getting it replaced under the warranty. Avoid this drive and avoid buying others from Amazon as their support is not helpful in case of failure.

> 3 dayI woke up this morning to a blue screen on my computer. Then it failed to POST. I started unplugging everything and reattaching everything one by one only to find out that something on this SSD has been messed up. My computer starts up just fine with everything connected except this SSD.
