Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

This is the lens that barely leaves my a6600 body. It is a great allrounder especially if you are into street and urban photography. It is the most natural lens I have and comes very close to your actual eyesight which makes it very comfortable both indoors and outdoors (where the 56mm for example is a bit too much for indoors).

I was looking for a budget friendly lens for my kids portraits. Absolutely in love with the image quality.

Overall, a great lens for pictures, but not so great for recording videos with sound as autofocus makes noise plus no IS. Sharp images and better low light captures than stock sony lens.

A fine lens for my NEX 5n. Quite sharp, and fantastic price-quality compparison. I miss an anti-shake function, however.

Luminosa, nitida e con un boke fantastico. Quello che mi serviva per paesaggistica e ritratto generico. Davvero unottima lente ad un prezzo abbordabile. Unica pecca riscontrata, purtroppo: non tiene benissimo il fuoco. Capita che si sgancia e riaggancia repentinamente. La uso su a6500 Sony e ovviamente essendo una lente NON nativa, era da mettere in conto il fuoco ballerino. Fortunatamente lavoro con i video e vado solo in manuale, quindi il problema non sussiste. La consiglio senza ombra di dubbio. Amazon al top come sempre.

Worked great until it didnt. After about 10 hrs of use (sitting on a tripod in my house), the iris stopped adjusting, causing the image to be very dark and the autofocus to stop working. The camera will let me adjust the aperture, but the iris doesnt actually move. I have tried it on multiple camera bodies without any luck. I was very happy with the quality of the image and the overall lens value, but breaking after only 2 months of extremely light use is a very unacceptable. Now Im stuck...

It delivers what you expect, good product.

must have lens for mft users. Very good iq for general purpose, you can walk around with only this mounted. Frankly better choice than the 14-42 kit lens of my Olympus pm-1. Can t wait for the newly announced 60mm f/2.8

This lens would be PERFECT if the auto focus was a tad better. I have the 16mm and AF on it is excellent but the 30mm is a bit of a breather on my a6500. Nothing you cant work around but it can be frustrating at times shooting wide open.
