Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

Obiettivo superlativo!

Mon objectif préféré. Équivalent 45mm sur un APS-C. Et utilisable que sur ce système alors je ne comprends pas pourquoi il est noté 30mm, pareil pour le 16mm. Une histoire de marketing jimagine.. Mais il reste mon objectif préféré en toute circonstance. Je fais des portraits de nuit et parfois le déplacement des étoiles et ça marche très bien.

This is a great lens, both in this older version and the new cosmetically updated version. It works out to a 45mm equivalent, which is a nice normal FOV. While there are faster lenses available, the price and quality of this one make it a great choice for anyone who doesnt need the narrowest possible depth of field.

EEEERRRR MY GEEERDDDD!!! This lens is flipping fantastic. Best lens Ive ever owned. Hands down. Perfect focal length on the a6500. Fast focus (even in the dark). Amazing bokeh. Great colors. Shallow depth of field for portraits is wonderful. I chase my kids around with this lens all day. Photos and videos. Its on my camera most of the time at the moment. Im ready for Sigma to make me a 50mm and an 85mm of this lens. It would be awesome.

This would be a great lens at almost any price, but at $150 its an absolute bargain. This and the SEL50F18 are the only two lenses that I use anymore and I am never disappointed with the quality or performance of either lens.

Lens seems extremely sharp and Im very pleased with the results so far. My only reservation is the rattle that some other reviewers have mentioned. On mine, its more of a heavy clunking sound than a rattle, which stops once the camera is switched on and focused. Along with the manual (which mentions a chattering sound) and other references on the net, I guess it is not a fault but an intrinsic part of the design - it is unusual, though and to say the least a bit disconcerting. Other than that, it would have been 5* on my use so far.

I purchased this lens to use on the Sony A6400 and so glad to use it. With f/1.4 its an excellent prime lens.
