> 3 dayThese are well designed and have a super strong adhesive. While the directions on the box tell you to just peel and stick in place, its best to clean the surface you want to stick it on first. There are no instructions on how to remove these when the time comes, but just assume that once removed they cannot be reused. I will use them to lock a window open a few inches, and prevent it from being opened all the way. These can also be used on any doors that slide past each other, like sliding closet doors, shower doors, and cabinet doors. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Greater than one weekI like to sleep with the window open at night-and I wanted something to stop the window from being opened wide enough for someone to crawl through. I have double hung windows and this product works as advertised. I would have liked it to have removable/reapable sticky pad on it. But the price was right and if I need to move it I can always buy more.

Just make sure to clean the area you want to adhere it, peel the backing off, stick it on, and youre done! It operates as advertised. Easy-peasy as my little niece would say! Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for our sliding door. Our sliding door is 20 years old and so we wanted an extra security, it works perfect. For a piece of cheap plastic it seriously works, you cannot slide the door open at all. It locks I. Place by squeezing the two rubber pieces on top and bottom. We put it all the way up so that our children cannot reach it. They also cannot squeeze the pieces to release the lock, so it’s a win win for us.
