> 3 dayI ordered this more as an anti-theft device to keep someone out rather than in. I like that it is noticeable from the outside, and the orange trim makes it very noticeable from the inside. They are super simple to install and operate. These were excellent inexpensive solutions to keep moving sticks when I want to open the windows. It is straightforward for an adult to use, and you could also easily place it high enough that a child cant reach it on a slider. I am amazed at how strong they are very secure. Great product.

Greater than one weekGot this to lock the sliding door that leads to backyard to keep the toddler from opening it and hurting himself by accident. it looks like its doing the job for now and keeping the kid safe. Its nice and tight now but worried about the glue to loosen up over time.

We forget its there and fling open the door and it has never broken or unattached. Small hands cant close the safety latch. Hard to see if its open or closed from across the room so always double check.
