> 3 dayI was skeptical at first about this because of the price, but believe me - its worth it. This winder is much better than those others at the lower price. You might think youll get a lower priced one now and if you like it, youll upgrade later - dont. Go ahead and get this one. If you are looking for a winder for someone special in your family, this is it! Its very well built and the extra capacity will get used - dont worry about it being too large. We wound one skein that was bulky and large but this handled it perfectly. You might worry about the exposed gears, but they have not been a problem. I believe this product will be part of our family for a long time. And just a hint - as long as you are buying this, go ahead and get a yarn swift also. :-)

> 3 dayI have tons of yarn pieces from projects ive completed and since I have received this product I have organized all my yarn leftovers and now I can see what I have. I just love this item. I never had one and wonder why I waited all these years to buy. Its made well and fun to use. I hook it to a wooken tv table and wind my yarns while watching tv in the evening. I definately recommend this product.

10-06-2025Not sure how I made it this long in life without this contraption. It is the most amazing thing ever, you must get one. It makes beautiful yarn cakes. Love it x 1,000,000. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to get this size. It will wind large skeins of yarn.
