> 3 dayThis ball winder works very well, without making a lot of noise. The gears are smooth, and dont feel like low quality plastic. The clamp also seems like fairly good quality, and it hasnt budged since I clamped it to my desk. Ive wound a couple of normal skeins of wool, and one large skein of 1200 yards of fingering weight silk, and it worked perfectly.

> 3 dayOmg Im in love with this. I did a lot of research before I bought this bad boy. All the electric ones only do about 4oz of yarn. To me thats not nearly enough. This one will do 10oz. Ive done most my yarn to make it easier to store it. My kids love helping me as well. You both have to put a few pieces together but its super easy. I highly recommend this item.
