Greater than one weekIt was a gift for wifey - and she loves it. I like watching the mechanics of it in action... round and around it goes, when it stops, you ran out of yarn. It makes wonderfully organized and efficient yarn spool things.

> 3 dayI had to get my husband to help me put it together and start winding my first 2 skeins of yarn.

> 3 dayI could use this all day and all night. When I bought it I investigated different brands and sizes. I bought this larger one and this one because I didnt want to have to buy another one in my lifetime. My husband laughs at me when he sees me using it because I am having so much fun.

Greater than one weekI love it!!!!! I have a LOT of yarn. Im an avid crocheter and make items for missions. The yarn winder is sturdy and holds approx. 8 to 10 ozs. of 4 ply yarn. After the yarn is wound into a ball, it pulls out from the center without any tangles.

> 3 dayI was worried about spending this much on something like this, and thankfully i dont regreat it. The cheaper ones had a lot pf reviews saying how theirs got ruined after 3 rounds. I wanted something durable especially because i sell crafts with all different thicknesses/weights. It worked great with all 10 of my super bulky yarns, a little struggle at the end because they were about 10oz.

> 3 dayI LOVE winding my own yarn. A bit of a learning curve but totally worth it!

> 3 dayIt is sturdy and well made. I find that the outer yarn guide likes to move if there is any increase in tension at all from the skein and that can result in a tangled mess. The rest of the unit will stay put very well, it is just the long metal yarn guide that moved. It took me a couple days to get a system where I dont usually end up with yarn tangled in the gears., but it was a frustrating couple days. It does make nice looking yarn cakes, I just wish I could make them bigger. A standard skein of Red Heart Super Saver I have to cut and make 2 cakes. A Caron One Pound converts into 3 cakes.

> 3 dayThis is so nice. I have made center pull balls out of even big skeins of Thick & Quick. It makes organizing my yarn a breeze! It is extremely easy to thread and everyone that sees it wants to try it out. No joke.
