> 24 hourUpdate 4 months later. 5 stars to 1 star. Outlet no longer responds to smartthings. It will report its state(on or off) but it will not respond to on or off commands via smartthings or alexa. Attempted to remove device and re pair, but it does not show up. It is a paperweight now. Power load on device was 8 watts. Should not have died with such little amperage. This paired with smartthings very easily. I use it to automatically turn on the under cabinet lights when there is motion. I like that it leaves enough access to the other outlet on the wall. The second unswitched output is a big plus. Alexa found it no problem.

> 24 hourSuper easy setup. Fast response time with Smartthings. Small form factor that easily fits behind furniture. However, unlike the Minoston Z-Wave Plug Outlet with 2 channels, this only has 1 smart outlet and 1 always-on outlet. Its also a bit thicker, so harder to fit behind things. I also bought the device as new but it was (presumably) a refurb as it was already paired with another zwave hub and I had to do a factory reset.

> 24 hourI have 3 of these. They work great. Dimmer function isn’t that great. Don’t expect them to run like your wall switch dimmers. Easy to program. Works with SmartThings

> 24 hourIve tried pretty much all the dimmer outlets from GE/Jasco that are on Amazon and they all had some sort of issue (which I admit could be my personal Home Assistant setup — Zigbee and Zwave are both fickle) Setting this up wasnt straightforward because the device isnt recognized as anything by Home Assistant and OpenZwave 1.4, but this seems to be a rebadged Inovelli NZW39 dimmer, so after reading up online I was able to edit the manufacturer XML file to get this device recognized and now it works great. Smooth flicker free dimming that looks perfect 1-100%, though no fade in/out capability over Zwave as far as I could tell. Pressing the physical button does fade in and out, so its weird that it doesnt get exposed there. Would be 5 stars if that feature worked and if so much manual configuration werent required. Note that this will block an outlet below if you plug into a power strip.

> 24 hourWhile less expensive than other modules it comes at a cost of speed. I have nearly 50 z-wave switches at the house and most all are Jasco, GE or Honeywell. I decided to try an off-brand due to the positive reviews and while it worked there was just too much of a delay for my liking. So I returned them and purchased Honeywell modules and what a difference for a few dollars make. Theres nothing like turning on/off or adjusting the light and have a quick response vs waiting 3-5 seconds for the change to take affect. No comparison, buy a brand name and dont look back.
