This is an on/off appliance switch, not a dimmer. It integrated with my Z-wave Leviton network easily, and it works well. It is tall, so youll want to use the top outlet of the receptacle. Having the unswitched outlet is convenient.

the wattage capability is too low. the device wont even run a 500 watt heater.

This was simple to install and set up - it took me less than 3 minutes - This is after I tried other unites and could not get them to pair. I will probably get another one in the next few days.

This does work in Hubitat as of April 2022. Make sure to follow the instructions to set the min/max value, or your lights will be dimmer than normal.

Man is this thing weird. First, when I bought it I thought it didnt work right. It would connect to my Hubitat hub, and when I sent a command to turn the device on or off, the light on the front would change accordingly, but the connected lamp wouldnt turn on. I returned it and exchanged it for another one. These things happen, maybe I just got a defective product. Nope, the other one did the same thing. It wasnt until I looked closely that I realized the lamp was on but very very dim. I tried issuing a command to set the brightness to 100% - the device didnt do anything, still super dim. After reading the poorly translated instructions, I found that you can manually set a minimum and maximum brightness level on the dimmer. Except you had to follow a cryptic set of button presses to get it to set those values. So I followed the instructions which say that you set the minimum brightness first, and the maximum second. Didnt work. So I tried it the other way - set the maximum brightness first, and the minimum second. FINALLY I was able to get the dimmer working, to turn on and off, and to set the brightness from my hub. THEY SET THE MAXIMUM BRIGHTNESS TO 1 out of 100 BY DEFAULT! I only give it 2 stars because after all of this effort setting it up, and despite its problems, it does actually work. I can turn the light on and off and dim it, but I would definitely not buy another one of these until Eva Logik gets their junk together. It is terrible. Buy something else.

Power outlet works great with hubitat. Strong signal repeater and responds very fast.

This I write for my fellow ISY 994 Pro ZW users... I installed a z wave Schlage lock on an insteon network... so obviously the lock did not work.... I chose this as an additional ZWave item repeater... it works perfectly.... buy these 2 or 3 or 4 if the distance from the Schlague Lock is far from the ISY... think of it as creating a network of ZWave to enhance the grid of Zwave coms... these are the best because when adding Zwave units to ISY you really need to have it close to the ISY... (insteon allows to connect even if it is far away from the ISY... zwave has to be close for the first time adding... the closer the better... once added you can move it to the desired location just remember to heal Z wave network afterwards... try to build your se wave grid having some units... for me I needed 3 to achieve good connection to ISY but each case is different.

This device only worked for about 12 hours. After that it stopped responding to remote commands. I attempted to exclude and include it my z-wave network again with no luck. It also does not have a UL listing printed on the back.

Does just what it’s supposed to do. I’m currently using to switch my Christmas tree lights on at sunset and off before bedtime, but I’m sure it will find other uses throughout the year. I had no problem installing it on my 2GIG GC2 alarm panel. I just put the panel into discovery mode and plugged in the switch. It is compatible with/controllable through my Alarm.com account. (Disclosure: I work for a subsidiary of Alarm.com.) The switch was packaged nicely, secure, but without excessive packaging. The included instructions are simple and clear. I’d give this product 5 stars, except that I no longer trust 5-star reviews on Amazon.

They do work with SmartThings hub, but I was unable to add them via the new app as they are not listed as a compatible brand and search did not find them. Had to add them via the SmartThings Classic app. They are now visible and functioning as expected in the new app. Instructions are vague and clearly not translated well. Overall a good value, but I am an experienced smart home geek and these gave me some trouble setting them up.
