> 24 hourMan is this thing weird. First, when I bought it I thought it didnt work right. It would connect to my Hubitat hub, and when I sent a command to turn the device on or off, the light on the front would change accordingly, but the connected lamp wouldnt turn on. I returned it and exchanged it for another one. These things happen, maybe I just got a defective product. Nope, the other one did the same thing. It wasnt until I looked closely that I realized the lamp was on but very very dim. I tried issuing a command to set the brightness to 100% - the device didnt do anything, still super dim. After reading the poorly translated instructions, I found that you can manually set a minimum and maximum brightness level on the dimmer. Except you had to follow a cryptic set of button presses to get it to set those values. So I followed the instructions which say that you set the minimum brightness first, and the maximum second. Didnt work. So I tried it the other way - set the maximum brightness first, and the minimum second. FINALLY I was able to get the dimmer working, to turn on and off, and to set the brightness from my hub. THEY SET THE MAXIMUM BRIGHTNESS TO 1 out of 100 BY DEFAULT! I only give it 2 stars because after all of this effort setting it up, and despite its problems, it does actually work. I can turn the light on and off and dim it, but I would definitely not buy another one of these until Eva Logik gets their junk together. It is terrible. Buy something else.

> 24 hourWorked great for a little over a year. Zwave integration to home assistant was easy. Range extender works as it should. After a year, the lights plugged into the dimmer outlet began to randomly dim to off and then back on. For the cost, I guess I shouldnt expect it to last.

> 24 hourIll start off by saying, the original listing I bought this from says its currently unavailable, but it is the same company selling. Again, dont listen to negative reviews that say it doesnt work or its difficult to set up. Even with limited tech knowledge, one should be able to follow the extremely basic and straightforward instructions that are included. I can also confirm this does indeed work with the Ring Alarm base station/hub via Z-Wave/Z-Wave Plus. The Ring base station/hub also contains a ZigBee radio, however, it is currently not enabled by Ring. Once set up, Alexa/Echo devices should be able to discover and control immediately.

> 24 hourThis outlet can accommodate two plugs, one is wirelessly controlled and the other is always on. It was easy to pair this with my SmartThings hub and give it a name (in our case, Christmas Tree). Then, all I had to do was set up a Smart Lighting automation to have the outlet deliver power to the Christmas lights on the tree during a specific timeframe, and then shutoff at night. As a bonus, with the SmartThings/Alexa integration, I am also able to control the outlet by voice.

> 24 hourI bought this for Z-wave lamp control. After including it with my Hubitat hub I was able to see it in the network and it would accurately report the state of the switch and allow customization of the button on the switch. However, It would not allow actual control on and off of the switch. So overall, it is a good device, but just isnt compatible with Hubitat at this time. So I am returning mine and getting a more expensive slightly larger GE device which I know is fully compatible with Hubitat.

> 24 hourWorked with many Z-Wave products in IT, these are great little units for table lamps, reliably connecting, responsive, superior dimming capabilities. However, be cautious, I have ordered a few of these and some indeed were the right product, sealed and brand new. A few other clearly were re-packed and contained some cheap off brand product. Very disappointing, as Eva Logik makes some great products, just open yours and make sure you actually get what you ordered and it’s truly a new one.

> 24 hourTo start off with, I hate leaving negative reviews. I always give the benefit of the doubt. However, these switches *seem* to be of very poor quality. I purchased an initial batch of two. The first one worked perfectly. Second one was dead out of the box - load stuck permanently on, no response on the button at all. I did a return per Amazon, and a new one arrived the next day. This one immediately presented problems out of the box - LED on button not responding when outlet is on. Unit failed half-way through the pairing process. Now, LED is stuck permanently on, as soon as the unit is plugged in to the wall. Completely unresponsive to the main button. Sending that one back as well. I hope its a temporary quality issue, but 1 for 3 is not promising.

> 24 hourThis dimmer paired easily to my HomeSeer system and works very well. I love that it has low and high dimming thresholds so that I can cut out the dead range. The status light is fairly bright, which is something to consider if it will be in something like a bedroom, but luckily that can be turned off. What I dont like is that if I use the button to turn the lights on and off, it doesnt immediately notify the hub of the change. Not a huge deal for me though, because its being controlled automatically.

> 24 hourThis does work in Hubitat as of April 2022. Make sure to follow the instructions to set the min/max value, or your lights will be dimmer than normal.

> 24 hourWorks like a charm. While its not designed for outdoor use Im using it outside and its working fine. Just be sure you have it isolated well from the weather!
