> 3 dayThis is the coolest woodworking tool I own. I build cigar box guitars and use it to shape the neck. This tool is very controllable and eats would like a beaver. I enjoy being able to do my projects without the noise and flying Sawdust of power tools. Dont know how I ever got along without it before I bought it. I also own the planer type as well. I have recently ordered an extra 9 inch tool just to have on hand if the one Im using gets dull or breaks. I recommend these saw rasps to anyone working or shaping wood.

> 3 dayI use this to shave off arm rests and belly cuts on the guitars I build. I dont have the proper expensive equipment for doing things like this, and this works so well, I dont worry about buying more expensive tools. It has a deep sharp side and a less rough side. I use the sharp side to get close to the angle I want in the wood, and the other side to get it relatively smooth. Then I use an orbital sander to finish. Ive done three guitar bodies so far, and it works like a charm.

> 3 dayIn an age of tool snobbery, the Shinto Rasp stands out as a truly exceptional value!! It serves as both a coarse and fine flat rasp of generous size. It does its job surprisingly well and leaves a finish that is very good for a rasp!!. For the price, nothing can come close to its value!!

> 3 dayI wasnt expecting this to work as good as it does, you dont get the same tear out you get from a normal wood file, it cuts like a saw, really cleanly. Im impressed how good it works. I wish all my files were this good.
