> 24 hourI LOVE these blankets. I was skeptical, thinking Do I really need expensive swaddle blankets? The answer? I bought 4 more as they are in constant use. They are light, breathable and soft. The lightness will be perfect for summer, but I doubled the blankets to use in the winter. The blanket rolls up so small, one is constantly in my diaper bag. Ive started using this instead of my nursing cover, and I think it even works better. My colicky baby only sleeps with her eyes covered, and with the breathable nature of these blankets, Im much more comfortable to swaddle her with a little hood to cover her eyes (dont worry, shes well monitored!). The generous size is key, too. It makes it so easy to swaddle. When my baby was a newborn, I folded them in half to form a triangle and swaddled that way, but now shes bigger, I fold down the top corner. Theres plenty of room. Im sure I can still swaddle her up to a year, if she needs it (like her brother did!) Also, check out Double Swaddle on youtube, as recommended by another reviewer. Its a great way to secure the wiggly older babies who still enjoy swaddling for sleep. I say, go for it!

> 24 hourThere are so many reviews for these blankets and mostly good for a great reason. They are worth 5 star!!! My son is 2.5 years old now and he still uses these blankets in conjunction with the Dream Blankets. These blankets are part blanket and part soothie for him. When he gave up his pacifier over Christmas, he began to rely more heavily on these blankets for comfort. He loves to rub his face on them. Last year, when he had ear infection, we used one blanket on him and he would rub his fingers on a piece of the blanket for comfort. As an infant, we swaddled him until he was about 6 months old and he was in the 90th percentile in size. As a mom, I have used these blankets as a impromptu changing pad, booger wipe, napkin, tummy time mat, shader for the infant car seat, and many other uses that are mentioned in other reviews. Its been so useful and practical that my mom, my sister and I have bought a pack as baby shower gifts to other new moms. We have owned the 44x44 and 47x47. I find that it is so much easier to swaddle a newborn with the 44x44 since the 47x47 is too bulky. We kept and added more 47x47 as my son got older, but we passed the 44x44 down to my nephew after he was born.

> 24 hourI LOVE these blankets! We have twins and these are now the only blankets we use. We got rid of most of our other blankets and bought several more of these. We own about 30 now. They are very breathable a d extremely soft on our babies delicate eczema prone skin. When doubled up they are also very warm, but not too warm. We live in Arizona and it gets very hot. These blankets let me wrap them so they feel secure without overheating them. I keep several in the car to use as shade from the sun on their stroller and their car seats. Keeps the sun off their face without making them hotter.

> 24 hourOur favorite baby blankets EVER! They are so soft and the fabric is breathable! They are perfect for swaddling but are big enough to be used for toddlers as well. I got many of these for our newborn baby, when they came in my oldest son (3 years old) wanted one and it is now his favorite blanket. I love how they are very durable but lightweight. These are much bigger than most swaddled blankets which keeps the baby from pulling the swaddle apart. When I first saw the price, I was unsure if they would be worth it but they are!!! After I received the first set, I bought more! Aden+Anais classic muslin blankets are a must have!!!!

> 24 hourAbsolutely love this TIMELESS print. the blankets are excellent quality material, the print is intricate and well crafted, and the size of the blanket is generous! I cant wait to use these daily-if I can keep from hanging them on the blanket latter for decor ha!

> 24 hourOne week at home so far, and Ive used ours a decent amount. Theyre soft and lightweight, so we use it to swaddle her when we want a lighter option. The patterns are also super cute, and the blanket is larger than traditional swaddle blankets so you have more room to play with - also more fabric if youre still getting the hang of swaddling. Im sure we will continue to use them for the next few years at least.

> 24 hourMy baby hates to be swaddled, but these are so great for other uses. They are nice and lightweight and work well over the carseat or stroller to block out the sun, and they are nice just to cover the baby. Very soft and snuggly. The jungle jam prints are super cute and gender nuetral. I went by other peoples recommendations and bought a pack of these and also received a pack from Target as a shower gift. Sure, these are bigger, but the material is the same quality. Both are great. Update 9-8-13 My son is now 14 months and we went from using these to swaddle, to using them as blankets to cover him up at bedtime (nice and lightweight for summer or anytime) and now he cant sleep without having one to cuddle. We send one to daycare and he often has one in the car and drags them all around the house, playing peek-a-boo with them or using them to cover up the dog. They make great security blankets because they are so easy to wash and come in packs of 4, so you always have a clean one. We still rotate all 8 of them that we got as shower gifts. When these wear out/get lost/get too stained or torn, we can just go out and buy a new pack. They are the best.

> 24 hourWhy should you pay $50 for swaddle blankets when you can bring a bunch home from the hospital gratis? Thats what we kept asking ourselves. But after a few weeks when your little one(s) get just a touch bigger and kick just a touch stronger, youll realize that the size of the hospital issue swaddle blankets (or the many better patterned similar ones you can buy for half the price of these) arent big enough to get a tight swaddle. The aden + anais muslin blankets are much bigger, giving you much more material to use for wrapping your burrito. And the breathable fabric helps keep your baby from overheating (whoever told us that babies dont sweat lied). This is definitely a splurge product, but its one youre going to use on a regular and worth it. And if youre looking to cut corners cost wise, find a smaller pack not a lesser swaddle. Weve got twins and the 4-pack is more than enough for two.
