The bag was definitely big enough to fill 1.5 tanks. But the sand was wet. This made a mess and was sticking to the crabs. But otherwise great quality and value.

Do not use! Killed my crabs. Especially when they molted. This sand burned them!

Get more than one bag if you have a 10+ gallon tank. One worked fine for our small terrarium. Hermit crabs seem to enjoy. Sand stays pretty moist.

This sand rocks! the crabs have never been happier. It stays moist and does not stick to the crabs.

A sand just for crabbies!!! Not colorful sand, not play sand, but beach and coconut fibers, just what my crabbies prefer.

This is not a review of the product. Its a perfectly fine sand. This is for Amazon. This bag of sand was placed in a box with several other items and the bag broke open. Amazon needs to put the bag of sand in an additional bag before shipping.

My hermit crabs died because of this sand. They dug, hid in it and it was so much in their shell.

I really enjoyed this product. It gives the tank a really nice beach look to it and my Crab spends a lot of time in this part of the tank. I made half of the tank more humid and jungle like, and the other half a beach front, that I made the sand start higher and go down in to a pool of water. A mini beach!
