Perfect for long hikes. Keeps your back dry and very comfortable. Straps are sturdy enough to attach your camera or other gear. I needed a backpack that was large enough for a 3-8 hour hike but light and comfortable.

Im 61, weigh 280 lbs., and have struggled to find hiking gear that doesnt remind me that I dont fit in with the hiking crowd. This bag does just that - its light, offers good support, doesnt run up against my back, and is just the right size for my foray into hiking. The straps are adjustable so they offer the proper support to take weight off your lower back and provide enough space so you dont feel crunched up or unnecessarily restricted. My only complaint was the waist strap, which was not long enough (i.e. my gut not small enough) to fit around my waist. However, the waist strap can be removed until youre in a position to fit into it. Otherwise, this bag is perfect for day walking trips.

I returned this backpack in September because it was bigger, and clunkier, than I expected.

Took this thinking in Utah, drove 5300 mile and hiked 130 miles in open desert, moab, canyon lands, capital reef, bryce and zion. the packet was the BOMB.

Just received this and used it only twice, but probably one of the better backpacks ever purchased. Light weight and perfect for a day of hiking. Trailed 8 miles in 80 degree weather w/some humidity and my back didnt get sweaty, and the pack balances very comfortably on my back. Filled it just to see how well it would work and it worked great. Will be purchasing another one for my spouse.

I was looking for a bag to take on walks. I had an ok bag before, but my back would be all sweaty on hot days. It’s amazing how the mesh on the backside of the bag helps with circulating air to my back. It’s easy to adjust the backpack to customize the fit. All the pockets and clips are great. Water bottles stay secure even if the bag is on its side. My one complaint is that the bag does not sit upright (that picture they use is deceptive).

Love the size of this pack and the off the back suspension is a definite plus

I was looking for a lightweight bag with ventilation, and this is it. One superficial qualm: I wish the colors were more muted. The Kumquat Orange looks like a gentle, almost burnt orange on my browser (which I prefer), but in reality its even beyond kumquat level brightness. Hope the sun and dirt will tone it down within a couple of hikes.
