Great pack, good amount of storage, convenient pockets, and awesome durability

Im 61, weigh 280 lbs., and have struggled to find hiking gear that doesnt remind me that I dont fit in with the hiking crowd. This bag does just that - its light, offers good support, doesnt run up against my back, and is just the right size for my foray into hiking. The straps are adjustable so they offer the proper support to take weight off your lower back and provide enough space so you dont feel crunched up or unnecessarily restricted. My only complaint was the waist strap, which was not long enough (i.e. my gut not small enough) to fit around my waist. However, the waist strap can be removed until youre in a position to fit into it. Otherwise, this bag is perfect for day walking trips.

I was looking for a bag to take on walks. I had an ok bag before, but my back would be all sweaty on hot days. It’s amazing how the mesh on the backside of the bag helps with circulating air to my back. It’s easy to adjust the backpack to customize the fit. All the pockets and clips are great. Water bottles stay secure even if the bag is on its side. My one complaint is that the bag does not sit upright (that picture they use is deceptive).

The internal frame is a unique feature for a day-hike size pack and really makes this pack easy to wear all day without being uncomfortable.

I love this pack. I wanted something that was off my back and this was perfect. Very roomy, I just wish it had more pockets. Note that this does have a frame, which I didnt realize before I bought it. I was hoping to be able to take this in my backpacking pack for day hikes, but it doesnt fit since it has the frame. But it is perfect for day hikes.

Waist straps are the old kind that does not stay put. If Osprey had used their newer waist straps that tighten by the hip I would have kept this pack. Sent it back because it did not live up to Ospreys standards.

I purchased this backpack for a full day hike and it was absolutely perfect. It held all of my items with ease and I barely ever felt it was there. The special features like the built in rain cover, the soft lined pocket for your phone, the clasp for your keys, and the wide side pockets that hold my 40 oz water bottle perfectly all make this an amazing backpack. Do not hesitate, buy this backpack now. It’s comfort, durability, and versatility are unmatched!!

I use it everyday for work and hiking on the weekend. Its a great small pack and a welcome addition to my Osprey Atmos 65. Just wish there was a more effective way to rein in the clip straps when not in use, then tend to get in the way.
