> 3 dayThe quality is excellent like most Osprey products. I do have to return it because the shoulder straps are connected in a way that prevents them from getting comfortably wide enough to sit lower on the shoulders instead of pinching my neck. Also the hard frame is neither low enough or wide enough to be comfortable. It presses on my mid back and the bottom edge is curved in a concave way that is designed to spoon your back but the corners arent wider than my back so they just press into it. Ill return this one for sure and maybe try the skarab hydration pack instead with no frame. Its a bummer because the ventilation on this would work well in Texas.

> 3 dayMy partner and I have done day hikes and car camping all over national parks across the country and most recently Alaska. This is the perfect pack for all your essentials. Not too big or too small, just right!

> 3 dayI returned this backpack in September because it was bigger, and clunkier, than I expected.

> 3 dayThis backpack was smaller to me than it appeared in the photo-- but I think that is common among hiking bags. The construction is *outstanding*. The stitching is neat an uniform and double in weight-bearing areas. The materials are thin and strong. Every surface has a texture, and the colors absolutely pop.

> 3 dayMy husband and I are empty nesters now and just got into hiking about two years ago. He loves this pack for day trips. Great quality. Lots of room for hydration pack and more. Ill be purchasing mine this spring. Highly recommend Osprey brand. Our full packs are same brand. Durable. Comfortable. Great pack for the price!

> 3 dayI dont really consider myself to be very gentle with a lot of my outdoor equipment. That being said Ive owned this pack for over 2 years and Ive haphazardly thrown scissors and other hard pointy tools into the pockets and havent had a hole yet. Ive thrown a full jug of water in there and ran around some hillsides and never had the straps wear out. Ive used it as a camelbak, day pack for hiking, and most recently as a fishing backpack (Although the lures and hooks were in containers and not just sitting in the bag). I think the most I had in the bag at one time was my hammock, 2 twenty foot ratchet straps, my rain fly, an E-tool, an extra fleece jacket, a 36oz water bottle in the side pocket, a poncho, and still had room for plenty of snacks and small misc gear.

> 3 dayI used this on a slot canyon and it did really well. Has some wear from the sandstone but thats expected in that environment. Great little pack!
