Hikelite 18 Hiking Backpack , Aloe Green

Took this thinking in Utah, drove 5300 mile and hiked 130 miles in open desert, moab, canyon lands, capital reef, bryce and zion. the packet was the BOMB.

The Osprey Hikelite 18 backpack has a state of the art design with excellent quality and is backed by Ospreys reputation for durability and comfort.

It was a gift, and they loved it.

Good weight for the size and frame. Could be perfect if not for two things: 1. The side pockets are too short. Using 1L Smartwater bottles, and they’re on the verge of falling out. 2. Lack of a stuff-it pocket. I feel like this is just an up-sell for the 26. For the price you’re still getting a decent pack, but it could easily be much better. The airspeed frame makes this very comfortable for day hike loads, but I ended up sticking with my shining Viper 13 I was trying to replace.

Great little day bag for hiking.
