Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 | Moves your Applications, Files and Settings from an Old PC to a New PC | Includes Optional Ethernet Cable | 1 Use

Problem was related to going from Windows 7 PC to Windows 10. Had to call and pay for technical support. Once they took over old machine and then new and issued a series of commands on each, transfer went well.

Read the instructions before connecting the two laptops. I messed up and needed technical support. They were very helpful and connected with the two laptops to fix the communication issue. If I had followed instructions, it would have gone flawlessly.

I purchased this to transfer data and programs from an almost dead laptop that only had 1 operational USB C port available so I couldnt keep it on the charger while transferring. It worked fine to transfer to a new laptop, but then the new laptop failed because of hardware problems unrelated to the Laplink product. I had to get another laptop and found I had to buy a new license since I couldnt transfer the data back to the prior laptop. At least they gave me a 25% discount on the second license.

Ive used it on four PCs since 2014, including two in the past couple of months and one last year. It has not been routine. In at least the last three uses, I have needed to avail myself of tech support. But on each occasion, the support has been great. The were knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. In the end, all four new PCs were set up as I wanted them, with the majority of the programs working as they had on the old PC, and with my file/document structure transferring onto the new PC as it had been on the old PC.

I used this software to transfer from a 2012 vintage Windows 10 machine to a new Laptop - set up was easy when following instructions and installation ran overnight without issue. I recommend this product.

Transfer was complicated. Some data ended up in the wrong place. Had to improvise.

I read the reviews for this product; & most of the problems described were mainly not reading & following the directions. I had almost 30 yrs involved in IT; so I was aware of an earlier version of this product, and had used it before. After reading all material given; I had NO problems installing, using, & getting everything moved from a Win/7 PC to a Win/10 PC. Everything runs and is working correctly.

I bought a new to me PC and wanted to move all my software and settings from the old PC to the new one. I have used other products in the past to accomplish this task b this time I decided to go with Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Cable instead. I was familiar with Laplink as they have been around for a long time, but I had never used their products. This was by far the easiest and quickest transition I have ever experienced. It is important that you have your software license codes available, because once you move your applications, you may have to re-register some of your products (Microsoft Office, Windows and others). Other than that once the process completed the new machine looked exactly like the old computer and took about 1 hour to do. I cant imagine how many hours it would have taken to reload everything , nor how many things I would have missed. Absolutely the best product that I have encountered for this task.

Easy to use, no problems.

Was easy to setup by following on screen instructions. The software did everything I expected it to do. The transfer went smoothly and there were no problems encountered. Although tech support was offered with the software, none was needed.
