Greater than one weekA lifesaver! I needed to move all my files and applications from a breaking laptop to a new machine, and had a number of specialized applications that took a lot of time to install (and I was not sure I even had the instructions to reinstall). PCMover brought everything over without an issue. I needed a little tech support to get the laptops to connect over WiFi but tech support chat was very helpful in walking me through a couple of helpful tips which worked great.

> 3 dayI used the software and transfer cable which had worked in prior years, but this time not everything transfered and some of the things that did transfer did not work properly. There was no way of determining what files were missing so I had to hire a technician to do it manually. Laplink tech support is of no help whatsoever. Its a shame that a once great product has gone so far downhill like this.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - GUARANTEED TO RUIN YOUR NEW COMPUTER. After several calls to support and one WEEK of trying their suggestions on what to do next, this product ruined my new computer so badly that I had to do a complete factory reset and never got most of my apps to transfer and the ones that did transfer did not work properly. This product will have you screaming and wanting to throw your computer out the window because it just does not run right after you use this. Stay away from this garbage product

> 3 dayWhen you think about how complex and massive a task it is to move applications, files and settings from one PC to another you must realize that you have to follow the directions precisely! AND you must be patient and let it do its thing! This is not a 5 minute project so when you get started be ready to let it take its time to get it right! Some things that are no longer compatible will not transfer but that is to be expected! I consider this product to be precise, efficient and reliable BUT you must adhere to the instructions! Worth every penny!!! 5 stars!!!

> 3 dayEasy and straightforward, copies everything, including programs. Some programs require manually updating the license to the new computer, but this is a small thing. The transfer does take time... think overnight.

Takes a bit of time to get the right connections when your computer isnt wifi enabled, but once that is done it is all easy. Just follow the on screen direction. All favorites aps data pws and files transfer seemlessly. Would use again.

Greater than one weekI purchased a new PC for my daughter as her old Windows 7 PC was on its last leg. Her new PC is a Windows 10 pro plus so I wasnt looking forward to the conversion. I searched the internet for software that moves the old system, to the new system. I decided on Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11. I retired in 2015, I was a IT Manager so I knew what I was looking for. The process, if you follow the INSTRUCTIONS to the letter, and dont take any short cuts or you will have issues worked perfectly. You do have to have the ability to have the two machine in the same room. I had both mine hooked up to ETHERNET. You can have both on wireless (double check that). Both machines have to be discoverable to each other in order for it to work. It went off without any issues it was done an complete in 45 minutes. Every file and folder migrated to the new PC, not one problem which is incredible. Laplink was 100% helpful all along the way I received detailed instructions on how to approach the migration. If you know anything about Computers its the details that will causes you so many problems if you dont follow the instructions.. If you arent knowledgeable about migrating your PC or Laptop from one to another they will help you step by step. The software is inexpensive considering the price of others and it WORKED PERFECTLY.. !!
