> 3 dayPreparation is EXTREMELY important! Take your time and follow the instructions carefully. Still, I was not able to transfer my Outlook files. Had to spend 2 hrs. on the phone with Microsoft. I have Office 365 and had pre-loaded to my new computer. Had to call PCmover Tech to help interpret some instructions. Otherwise, the program was a successful!

> 3 dayI was very hesitant to buy this product because of all of the negative reviews. Anything from error messages coming up, system locking up, not all of your programs, data files, and photos transferred. But I thought I really had no other option that was viable at the time, so I bit the bullet and ordered it(CD, not downloadable). I will admit the included Ethernet cable did not fit either of my computers so I used the WiFi option. I was literally AMAZED at how easy and quick it was, even using WiFi! I installed PCmover Ultimate 11 on both computers, went through the questions and answers about what I wanted transferred and what I did not want transferred(I wanted everything transferred) and hit start. Even using WiFi absolutely everything was transferred in less than 1-1/2 hours. Restarted the new computer and everything worked perfectly. Did the same with the old computer and everything worked perfectly on it also. As a bonus you get SafeErase software also! I havent used it yet but I have no doubt it will work perfectly too!!! I have nothing but good to say about Laplinks PCmover Ultimate 11 !!!

> 3 dayWith windows 7 no longer being supported and my computer not a good candidate for uploading windows 10, I bought a new computer and used this program to transfer my information between the two computers. While it was easy to use, some of my programs did not transfer, and it took me a bit of unexpected time to re-add them.

> 3 dayFollowed directions and nearly ruined my brand new computer. Its still a toss-up of whether it will boot or if i have to reset Win10 AGAIN! Maybe its the hybrid drive, but theyve been around long enough that Laplink should have warned of a potential problem. I had to clear my stuff off and start at square one and copy and download everything by hand: this program was WORSE than useless! DO NOT USE IT on your new computer.

Greater than one weekPC mover worked good but didnt transfer my email folders or any internet bookmarks. I was able to get all of that manually transferred in about 8 hours. Safe erase was an absolute waste of time. Only thing it did was clean up temp files which I could do with a couple of key strokes. I would be happy to accept a partial refund.

13-06-2025Very pleased with the operation and ease of use of this product...only had a couple of things that did not move over to the new PC and just a couple of apps needed re-activate...sooooo much better than piece-by-piece experiences I have had in the past...excellent!

> 3 dayAfter 7 hours PCmover proudly said Finished but my headaches have just started. I was puzzled, since it seemed to have fairly good reviews, thus it is important to get review out there. My first indication of trouble was that the wall paper from my old computer was not there - the screen was black. I thought, wow that should have been the easy part! What else did it miss?. Then checking my applications - icons moved, but none of them worked (Norton, Quicken, Office. etc..) I had to reinstall them - except, Norton said it was incompatible with Windows 10, and MS Office 10 would not activate again, so I had to purchase a new copy. The worst part is that the PCmover moved items from the old computer (I thought it would be smart enough just to copy them) rendering the old computer partially inoperable. So a humble warning, save yourself time ( in the long run ) move applications and data by reinstalling on your new PC.
