Now I really wanted to give this game the full five stars, but I had some issues with it. First off, the package arrived neat and clean. Shipping was quick, game arrived new. It plays fine, it does everything you want it to. Now the reason I couldnt give it a full five stars. My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Blue back on my gameboy color. I know as the series gets older, they change things to keep it fresh. The last ones I played were Ruby and Black 2. I take a break every few years and then try the latest version. My issue with these new games, and perhaps they had this in X and Y, as I never touched those. It feels as if the game holds your hand way too much. The older games would just give you the starter you pick, and off you go. 3 Hours in and after I completed the first trial, I feel as if Im still in a tutorial and the game keeps telling me exactly where to go. I feel that the exploration has died down and the game has become more linear than it used to be. Im still having fun with it, I just feel like I need to have the training wheels taken off. If this is your first Pokemon game, I recommend it. If this isnt, Id still recommend it, just knowing you will feel as if youre in a tutorial for a few hours.

Youll get the UAE World Edition. Works fine, just more expensive than needed. Save yourself 10 bucks and buy this, because its the same product. https://www.amazon.com/3DS-Pokemon-Moon-World-Nintendo/dp/B08Y4B2H1K/ref=asc_df_B08Y4B2H1K/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=509457162433&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5056308463487562962&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9010320&hvtargid=pla-1393393556597&psc=1

Love the game. Ive been a fan of the games since dp and those are always my favorites. Normally, every Pokemon game that releases, Ill still enjoy, this was no exception. Ive put 70 hours into the game and Im not even done with the main story. It actually takes much less time to complete but I like to train and rotate a team of 19 sooo... anyways, the traditional 8 gym battle formula has been changed but other than that, its still the same Pokemon you know and love. Definitely pick up the game if you havent already

As soon as I saw the trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon on YouTube,I knew I had to pre-order it.Lots of people have been waiting for so long to get their hands on this game and I was worried that as soon as I got mine,I wouldve been disappointed. When the demo came out,I instantly played it.I ended up craving more. But the wait was worth it! This game is so amazing even though I just barely started it.What I like about this is that you dont have to battle gym after gym in order to progress. There are around 4 islands in the game and each is controlled by an island Kahuna. The only way you can get to them is by completing some side quests or fighting in battles, which is completely different from previous Pokemon games in which you had to battle a bunch of gym leaders in order to get some progression.Another aspect that I like about the game is the time difference between Sun and Moon.Moon plays in a different time zone than Sun,which makes the game-play a bit more interesting. These are just some of the things that youll find different from previous game generations.Regardless,I enjoy this game and I know Ill spend a lot of time playing it.

pros: - its pokemon!hawaii, which is cool - lots of new grass, fairy, and ground pokes that are very cute and interesting typing - breeding is now a billion times faster & easier thanks to the blessed inclusion of a visual display of each IV via an in-computer judge option - the legendaries are extremely easy to catch - now even more and cuter animations for all pokes! - 1st obviously fanservice DILFy professor - you can multiply your berries, hatch eggs / enhance friendship score, do EV training, collect pokemon amie / refresh affection items through the poke pelago system which is very convenient and brings a nice little check in element like berry bush farming used to be except not horribly boring and annoying - god finally organizing your item bag is a realized thing and its really easy with the free space pocket - seems like a lot of boxes at first but you only get like 16 which is pretty crap cons: - way too short - cant go beyond alola - no kanto, johto, hoenn, or anything else... :( and gamefreak still doesnt seem to comprehend the massive moneymaker downloadable game expansions are - no fertilizer for berries & no hybrids - the festival plaza thing should be cool but its actually really tedious and painful; to even get close to instating a decent facility for like, EV training or item purchase, you have to grind on these little quizzes and NPC check-ins that are charming at first but quickly lose interest - daycare lady is now a young cowgirl with blonde pigtails instead of an old lady but for some reason takes twice as long to waddle back and forth retrieving your pokemon - story is kind of boring :/ - have to wait until january for pokemon bank ffs

The game is definitely a low point for the Pokemon franchise. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE mega-evolution and Z-moves, I think the Alolan forms are 100% wonderful, I think Team Skull are the best antagonists since team rocket, and the Ultra Beasts are cool. I love so much in this game, but I still consider it basically unplayable. The core gameplay mechanic appears to be a mini game where you try to escape from conversations with random characters that you dont care about by pressing A as rapidly as you can. This mini game is repeated over and over again. I put 400 hours into White 2, another 200 into Y (which had similar problems as this one, but not as bad), and at least 100 into Omega Ruby (which despite the time I spent was far superior to X&Y), but I havent been able to make myself finish this one. Aside from my issues with the random cutscenes and monologues that the game is filled with, the actual game is very very easy. It feels like no trainer has even 3 pokemon in their party, and there are random people offering to heal you every ten feet. Dungeons (such as they are) are very short and nearly completely linear.

In my opinion, Sun and Moon have done a lot of things right, but ruin it by forcing you through what seems like a game-length tutorial. Ive been playing since RBY, so this is very frustrating - to the point I completely stopped playing for a week and wouldnt have continued if my GF didnt keep trying to get me to. I would give this game 3 stars, but my GF loves it and doesnt mind anything Ive griped about, so she would give it 5. Overall 4 stars from us. P.S. Ive beaten the game now and restarted (custom starters run), and its much better now that I know what to expect. Its not as grating as it used to be.

For most of my life, the Pokemon series has had a huge influence on how I spend my free time. From playing pokemon Leaf Green late into the night on weekends, to now playing Pokemon Moon while procrastinating on my college essays. I am happy to say I have added this to my collection. Pros: Pokemon - The usual formula for the most part. Nostalgia value, and replayability as per the norm for the Pokemon series. Deep Story - Most Pokemon games of yesteryear did not have a deep story. Only up until the last two generations did we have major story arcs and prologue style after stories. Cons: Lots Of Change - If you arent a fan of change, you might not enjoy this. They changed things up with this edition of the series. Gyms are no more as you complete trials rather than gain badges. This is the main difference, and one I dont personally find bad, but it can be a dealbreaker for those diehard Pokemon fans. Lag - If you do not have the New 3DS system, you will experience slight drops in performance in certain battle situations. Its not a big issue to me, and one Im looking to fix by buying a New 3DS system in the future. Over all, I am loving the game so far. It is worth your time buying for yourself, your children, or your grandchildren. It is great for all ages, and truly a wonderful gaming experience. 89/100 Packaging and Amazon Purchase Review: Arrived safe and sound in a bubble wrap envelope. The estimated time was spot on, and in the end I am 200% happy with this purchase.

This defiantly reminds me of Pokémon XD for the GameCube. Its like previous Pokémon games but has an actual story line. The characters all have beckgrounds and have very different personalities. The story can get annoying at times because off all the cutscenes and talking though. But I think its really easy. Im a fan of 11 years now its way to easy. When you fight a Pokémon, the game tells you if a move is super effective or not. You should know that by now. Also every time you turn the corner someones healing your Pokémon. But they give you an exp. share early, and if you never turn it off, you will not to do any grinding to level up. props to game freak for trying something new.

As an original Pokemon player, Ive grown and experienced it all. And while itll be easy to simply say Sun and Moon have completely departed from the series and created something revolutionary and new like Nintendo has tried to market this generation as, that simply is not the case. Yes things feel fresh up to a point; there are no gyms, no established Elite Four, and a few other minor differences, but at the core of it you still are going from city to city challenging trainers to battles. This is what Pokemon is at its core. You can call it Island Challenges if you want, but they are still Gym battles. The biggest inclusion are the Z Moves which function as a last ditch super power up move. We see this in many games, but not yet in Pokemon, at least not until this year. Pokemon Sun and Moon are great games that are great games because it follows the traditional formula which made Pokemon a household name. All they did was simply tweak the names and paths you go through and that is how it feels fresh. Game Freak has had a successful track record and this generation continues it.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will launch in the US November 18th, 2016 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Embark on a new adventure as a Pokemon Trainer and catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokemon on the tropical islands of a new Region and become a Pokemon Champion!
